The location was fine, but the process of using the app was such a pain. Someone had to call two references to let me rent? I have rented so many uhauls and it's not a problem, I have good credit, I am 51 years old, it was unusual and took way longer than if I just did an in person rental.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe truck was dirty (I have pictures), yet I was charged a clean-up fee (in dispute). Charges included truck charge as advertised at $29.99 per day, and then they added something called "Rental Charge" of $59.90 (in dispute). I prepaid for 20 miles at .99 a mile and was told that the remainder of not used miles would be returned. I used 9 miles, and never received the 11 mile difference refund. I called the Budget Inn and was told that the U=Haul person wasn't in until 5:00 pm. I called until she arrived at 6:00 pm. Then was told that she couldn't do anything, and I had to call a guy in Emmett....she said he should be available to talk. Called him....answering machine so left message . Still no response. This has been an awful experience.
Mark HI arrived and yelled asking for help. Melina slowly trotted out and said I could leave the key with her and she would get to it "when she had time." She didn't even take the keys out of my hands. She just looked at the table and indicated I could leave them there. So weird to leave the keys at an unattended desk. Slow and not eager to help.

edmund rAs of right now I will never be using U-haul again. The drop off location was a run down paid by the hour motel. Per our contract I put 1/4 tank of gas in the truck (of which I have a receipt that has amount put in and time put in) and I dropped it off with the hotel manager on Sunday night at 6:32pm. I asked if I needed to check out the vehicle myself and the manager said no they would handle it. Fast forward to Monday night at 4:30pm I received an email with a receipt from U-haul saying I had only filled it up to below 1/8th and I was charged $74. The only way that could have happened is if someone drove the truck around after we dropped it off. Because I dropped it off early, I am extremely worried as to what they did with the truck and on my account and insurance. My wife and I move a lot due to job relocations, safe to say I will never be using U-haul again.
