As of right now I will never be using U-haul again. The drop off location was a run down paid by the hour motel. Per our contract I put 1/4 tank of gas in the truck (of which I have a receipt that has amount put in and time put in) and I dropped it off with the hotel manager on Sunday night at 6:32pm. I asked if I needed to check out the vehicle myself and the manager said no they would handle it. Fast forward to Monday night at 4:30pm I received an email with a receipt from U-haul saying I had only filled it up to below 1/8th and I was charged $74. The only way that could have happened is if someone drove the truck around after we dropped it off. Because I dropped it off early, I am extremely worried as to what they did with the truck and on my account and insurance. My wife and I move a lot due to job relocations, safe to say I will never be using U-haul again.

Pick up was terrible and the app was giving me issues. Truck was not ready for pickup as the key was still in the return drop box and had to wait to have it opened.
JAMES SI am a Realtor and rented a truck for my clients. I was charged $200.00 for non return of a dolly that my clients say was returned. Called to request a refund and was told that they can’t talk to me about it because I wasn’t the one who picked up the truck.i did reserve it and pay for it, but somehow that isn’t enough to know why I wasn’t charged. Was supposed to get a call back from the field supervisor the next day. That was 3 days ago… crickets.

nathan bThe man at the front desk was very unhelpful. I had ordered a dolly and they had none!! I was supposed to get a lock and again they did not have one. Instead of finishing up with me, he started with the customer behind me and made me wait. The truck window was full of bugs and couldn’t see through the window. Also the truck was not full of gas. I went about 30 miles from Boise and filled up the truck and put 12.5 gallons in. Not what I expected from U-Haul!!!!
