The office was closed, used electronic pickup. What a disaster. Uhaul was experiencing technical difficulties which sounded as though they were ongoing and common - with their audio, the app, just everything. It took about an hour to resolve just to pick up the vehicle, which didn't extend the rental time by an hour, so I lost an hour trying to resolve. Customer service keep disconnecting from my call when they placed me on hold to verify my contacts, which be because of their audio issues, was a nightmare and locked my contacts waiting by their phone out from being used. Eventually. After sitting in best 100° weather for an hour at their location, we finally got going. My $19 a day rental, for two days, and about 40 miles, with basic insurance $30 was about $230, which included the charger for returning it two notches under on the fuel gage from when we picked it up. Over all, super crappy experience. Vehicle was basic, lots of dents with x marked stickers and a chipped windshield, photographed upon picking it up from the location. The actual lady under the building, which was open when we returned it, the highlight of the entire experience. I'd give her a raise if she was my employee, seriously. She was the only redeeming quality of the entire experience, and a pure delight to engage with.

Truck was in poor shape but being able to rent last minute is a privilege.
John FI’m start to finish this reservation failed miserably. I live in Southeast Boise and this location is just minutes away from my home. I reserved a 10 foot truck which the truck I had no issues with it was the customer service that was not available at all at this location. When I looked at the app to look at the pick up location, it was sending me somewhere over off of Park Boulevard where there is no U-Haul location so I drove over to the store at facility off of Park Center and they were closed not open on Saturday and Sunday there was a number to call to get help. I called the number and it was the Yamhill location. Danielle was extremely helpful in helping me figure out how to get the keys for the truck which I had already been charged for. She even drove down to make sure the lockbox was accessible and that the truck was there once I returned to that facility and tried to pick up the truck on the app for this location. It would not give me a code to open up the lock box. I had to call Danielle again to get the code. She was extremely helpful again and very patient I was able to retrieve the keys, however on the app again it was asking for pictures that I couldn’t take because of where the truck was located. It was backed all the way up against the fence and there were bushes in front of the driver side so I couldn’t upload any photos onto it. I took photos with my own camera and let her know that I would go ahead and take the vehicle and return it as my vehicle was parked at that location returning the vehicle was fine. I was able to put the keys back in the lock box without any issues, I am sure that for storage this location is amazing. However, if you are looking for a truck rental on the weekend, I would look to rent off of Federal Way and Yamhill as their customer service representative, Danielle went above and beyond.
Karin HConrad was an excellent U-Haul employee. He was timely, well organized and courteous. He is an asset!
william gWhen refueling I attempted to clean the windshield only to have the wiper blades fall off their mounting and end up in my hand. I completed the remaining half of my travel with the wiper blades on floor of cab and NO useable windshield wipers. Fortunately no rain fell and I was able to successfully complete trip. I did not mention this at drop-off as I was focused on timely returning vehicle and it slipped my mind.
