If u offer a location online, please do not wait until reservation is complete to change location. Otherwise im glad to have met the staff at the bolingbrook location. They were beyond helpful. Glad i went there even though they were pretty far for me.

The trailer had 4 large tables left in it which really impacted how we could load our own things into it. They were heavy and it was not possible to move them out and move them back in by just my daughter and I. The owners did apologize (a customer had dropped off the tables into the trailer without their knowledge)but I thought I’d get a bit of a discount. The inside of the trailer was filthy, and not waterproof as we found out after driving in the rain.

I was charged $8 for insurance that I had declined when I made the reservation. Also, the easy check in was not in the system even though I had done so the day before.

After "topping off tank" across the street the night before my return was due and trying to "return my truck" on the website or mobile APP...I dropped the key in the overnight drop box and went home to try to return it on-line...no such luck. I then arrived at the shop 5 minutes before they were to open to make sure there were no issues or snags...I returned the truck with the needle "PAST FULL" and when I inspected the unit with the "owner" that morning it was less than full. I noticed that the gas cap was NOT lockable and suggested it was siphoned out of the truck gas tank that night or because the truck was on an incline perhaps the tank float was not working correctly....that was dismissed with "I never have that kind of problem here" and after a bit of back and forth I then took the truck to put just over $ 2.00 worth of gas it the tank (AGAIN past the FULL mark. Not a happy customer and will not recommend this location in the future, even though they did have trucks available on the Sunday when others were closed.

I just didn't like how i rented in downers grove and then the confirmation came and it was in bolingbrook and i had to pay for the extra miles. I understand its what is available at the time, but I shouldn't have to pay for the extra miles. Overall a good exp. Manager at location was great.

Dealer was indifferent to me and apologized for his demeanor, stating he was busy with many demands from other customers. Rental truck had numerous damages to front bumper, passenger door, driver door, and cargo box indicated with stickers pasted directly on the damaged area. Owner stated there were so many stickers indicating damage that old stickers were falling off. I called dealer numerous times during the rental period to report being stuck in interstate traffic (I55 near Chicago) and stated I would be late by approximately one hour. He sounded upset and stated he needed to rent the truck to another customer. I arrived at the dealership about an hour later, crossed paths with the dealer as he was leaving in his personal vehicle. I dropped the key off in the overnight box. The next day I received my e-receipt rental contract and noticed the dealer charged me double the rental rate for the truck and furniture pads. I called UHAUL customer service and filed a notice of dispute and spoke with Latisha R., who offered exceptional customer service demonstrating effective listening, patience, empathy, and even called the dealer while I waited. Amazing!!! Problem was resolved! Thank you!

Staff were very helpful. I really, really appreciated being able to speak directly with the staff at the actual rental location and have my reservation confirmed and questions answered. Some of the other locations I tried to reach calls went straight to the call center which was not helpful.
