We had 24 moving pads in our reservation that we were told would be in the truck upon pickup. We picked up on a Saturday so the location was closed. We had to use the app to pick up the truck. Could not get it to load pictures correctly, live chat would not work. It was the following day before we were able to alert anyone we were short moving pads. To reserve more than 1 day no one seemed to know what to do. It took several phone calls before I got someone from Uhal that could help me. The person who was finally able to help me was very nice and knowledgeable and was able to help me. Just very frustrated by the time I got to her.

I will give the location a higher rating but be happy that you did not ask me to write U-Haul over all because you would’ve gotten zero stars. This rental was ridiculous. I rented online from the location closest to my home and when we got there to pick up the trailer, the location was closed, even though it had a guarantee online that I screenshotted. When I called in to let your customer service know the girl told me that she would call the owner and he didn’t pick up so she was going to send me to another location that was not convenient so when I asked for a discount of some kind for the inconvenience she got an attitude. Realistically your guarantee says that you will give me 50 bucks back so I should’ve gotten that 50 bucks off of the rental without attitude. When my son goes to the location to pick up the trailer all of the online reservation details that I put in were changed and I had to end up, dropping the trailer off at a further location than what I had requested online so I picked up at a further location and I had to drop off at a further location because it was changed insurance was also added, and I waived insurance. I was supposed to have gotten that refunded and it showed up in my bank initially but then it disappeared so I did not get that refunded nor did I get the 50 bucks that you guarantee I will get if my online reservation is not honored. I will likely never rent from U-Haul again.

John SThe customer service was terrible, I was belittle for showing up to rent a truck. The woman complained the entire time that she had to do it on her computer, she ignored me talking to a sales representative and coworker, and had no idea what she was doing. I was billed an extra $27 for fuel even though I had pictures on my phone showing the mileage and fuel gauges, the woman at the counter saying it was good, and I wouldn’t receive a fuel charge. I had to wait almost 20 minutes when I returned the truck for anyone to even notice I was there. I called and nobody had answered so I left a message to get a refund on my fuel charge, nobody has returned my call. Very disappointing
