After having to jump through hurdles trying to resolve a problem between 2 local uhaul locations and uhaul Customer service. I get a call from a district manager (said his first name was John ) thinking that he’d be able to asses the problem better but not ONCE did he ask what happened nor let me explain to him what happened . He demanded I pay the fees ( that we’re incorect, and the whole reason for this ordeal) he did not try the lest bit to resolve any of uhauls mishaps. Which have me wasting 4 hours trying to resolve when I’m supposed to be moving out . I called him back to ask for his name so I can speak to someone above him and he said there isn’t anybody I can talk to and that it will just come back to him so there’s no point . I also asked if any of these calls were recorded he refused to answer and he hung up on me . I have never been treating like this, especially by a big company. Im a single parent with 2 jobs currently trying to move out in 2 days, this problem could have been handled much better.

Yes. Had issue with Brandon U-Haul. Made appt for hitch 3 days later they call and say.. sorry, we cant do your hitch today, going home.. what? So forget them, had install at Lakeland U Haul location. Bloomingdale location also redeemed faith in U Haul.. but this location, not Brandon.

Vehicle overpriced. I run a fleet of vehicles and rent through enterprise when a vehicle is in for repair. They where out of trucks so I settled for a van through uhaul. I typically spend 60 a day. I was charged 411 for 4 days.

We picked up the vehicle on Friday at 10:19 am. The contract stated it was due back on Sunday by 9:00 am. We arrived at the facility to find it didn't even open until 10:00 am. The contract should have stated it wasn't due back until 10 am, especially since that was still within the 48-hour time period we had rented the truck for. Sure, there was a dropbox for the keys and paperwork, but we were dead tired from moving. One more hour of sleep before we turned the truck in would have been greatly appreciated.
