Very well managed and operated site
Uhaul advertises a $19.95 truck rental plus whatever rate per mile. It wasn't until after picking up the truck that I was notified that the day rate for the truck was $99. Thumbs down to UHaul for baiting and tricking customers. I paid $170 to rent a cargo van for less than one day. At Hertz I paid $70 for the same truck for the same amount of time.
I was charged $7.00 for a hand truck which was not in the truck, but was never credited back the $7.00
From the corporate level, you keep making the customer experience more difficult. Now I have to login every time I open my U-Haul app? Are you effing kidding me? Other than my bank,, Who else requires this? What part of this don't you understand. I rentFrom you on a regular basis. Not going in a good direction.
There was one staff member there, yet he was doing it all - taking in/cleaning return vehicles, and working the counter. He was efficient, fast, courteous, and professional. I was in a huge hurry and he got me on the road in no time. Give that man a raise.

1) Employee at check-in was NOT wearing a mask 2) Mobile alerts did not sync up with online system - was told my record could not be found and my account could not be logged into, creating an endless loop 3) Return attendant attempted to charge me an extra day even though I was only 30 minutes after the time I'd stated - well within the closing time of the location. This was a same-day rental and I had the vehicle only 6.5 hours. Ridiculous. 4) Long wait times to check out and return.
Improve? Not much they could improve on, customer service is excellent, management is excellent. I am semi handicapped and always assisted above and beyond my expectations

I have probably done 50 rentals out of this location. Yet each time, I am treated just like I walked in off the street. The app is awful, the whole rental and return process is incredibly cumbersome. I am a repeat customer, you should know me and trust me by now. You should make this easy for me and try to keep my business. What part of this don't you get???
Customer service great. Everything I was told on the phone wrong by U hAUL agent before coming. I would never trust what U haul informs me about again. Also your after hours access door is too small. There are poles in the storage and that is a surprise after you open door.
I was instructed to call if I needed to change the pickup time. I did need to, and was driving when I made the call. It was frustrating to then be directed to go to the website to make the change, which would have further delayed my pick up. I opted to stay on the line, and was advised the approximate wait time as 6 minutes. It was 18 minutes before having the call answered. The update for the pickup took less than 1 minute. Perhaps you could have an option too leave a message for change of pickup time. The only other suggestion would be to compare prices for boxes. I needed more bankers boxes. I had gotten some previously at Staples in a pack of 15 medium weight for 24.99 your location is selling them for more than $3 a piece.

I picked up my truck in less than 5 minutes and I dropped it off in less than 5 minutes. When I was at Boston Avenue in Bridgeport it took 37 minutes to get my truck and 35 minutes to drop it off. They did not have any blankets and they did not have a hand truck for us to use. The U-Haul on Fairfield Avenue had everything ready for us that was requested
The on line process worked great and saved time. All employees were courteous and helpful.
I had two issues related to equipment that were bothersome and concerning. The concerning one was that I ordered a furniture dolly and one was not available. If I didn't call the night before to ask a question I would never have know. That's unacceptable. You can't show up and not have equipment available with no ability to change it. Maybe I would have gotten a vehicle somewhere else then. Then when I showed uo the had cart and blankets were not in the truck. So what was the point of using the mobile app to check in if I have to go back into the store to get it. Overall I was not pleased with the rental experience
The woman from whom I rented the truck was great. The afternoon/ evening staff were miserable. I was late returning the truck and I was called TWICE while en route to return the truck. The first call was at 3:58 demanding to know where I was and that the next family was waiting for the truck!! Unbelievable. Get your customer service rep some training. This is a rental business and client often encounter traffic and other impediments on the road. Also, the original price quote was under $70 for the day. My final bill was $330!! I will never rent from uhaul again. Thanks
Took me half an hour to get my truck because of the pick up system you have on the phone, I'm not a teenager and not familiar we technology, to complicated for senior .
