The old lady that works at the Bridgeport location is very unprofessional, rude, has an attitude problem. Only when someone of higher ranking showed up does she act like she want to help a customer.

I was given a quote, and they did not standby it. I kept the truck for an extra day and somehow the price almost tripled in cost. I was told if I had it Back by 3pm they wouldn’t charge me another day by the gentleman on the phone but once my card was charged I was in fact charged. I will never rent from this location again if I ever even rent from U-Haul again. The box truck was handy but I had a horrible experience

BETTY HThe overall U-Haul renting experience was fine and went well. The truck was clean and the only issues were that the driver side window crank was broken prior to me using the U-Haul, and the window was slightly open so I couldn’t close the window. The passenger side windshield wiper would not work at all so that was a little inconvenient when I went to spray the windshield and use the wipers. My main issue was with the customer service. I didn’t catch her name, but the older woman that greeted me at the front desk was incredibly rude. She made the interaction a hassle with questioning why I was there and if I was sure I was at the right location all because she refused to look at my reservation, and look for the key to the truck I reserved. She overall made me feel as though I was an inconvenience to her time and that I was stupid and didn’t know how U-Haul works (even though I’m a repeat customer). She was very snippy and not helpful at all until another member of staff had to step in, confirm that we did, in fact, have a reservation on a truck, and then tell her to look for the key. Very disappointed with the lack of quality customer service. As a customer, I do my absolute best to have all my info ready, on time, and present so that I’m not a hassle, so the rudeness from her was absolutely not due to me as a customer. Thank you!
