The truck had empty and partially full pop bottles in it. There was paperwork from a previous user on the floor. The truck had less than a full tank of guess. Uhaul tried to charge me for 95 miles when I only drove the truck 26 miles round trip. I have rented Uhauls previously and this was rough.
Cheryl DWith the way things worked out I ended up spending just over $80 to drive a 10’ box truck 6 miles in less than 12 hours. The return time should be more clear upon pickup and when another days rental price and fees will be added on. The Lake Rd location in Brockport should not have an option to pickup at a counter with staff because they have none. We were there for 2 hours trying to figure out how to properly set up the rental. Customer service was not helpful when contacted either. But the truck was clean and drove well, and I was able to move what I needed to with it.
