Find a different U-Haul dealer. I first tried the anmoore location and there was no one to help for 30 minutes so I did a online pickup that I had to cancel because of the time it takes to complete. (Which is ridiculous in 2021). So I then did raven auto which is the only place that had a pickup. Steve was a asshole. He talked badly about U-Haul the whole time and treated me like I was stupid because your mobile pick sucks.DAMIEN R.

The owner was rude. I had the truck for an extended period due to weather conditions. I called him frequently to make him aware. On the 5th, he called me wanting to know when I was turning in the truck as it had been seen at Lowe's. I told him that afternoon. As someone paying for a product, I don't know why I had to be accosted in such a way on the telephone. We took it off our hill and then had to have a tow truck come that night and next morning to help get back to our driveway. When I returned the truck, he told me I needed to clean it cause he wasn't cleaning it for free. I wasn't about to take it off the lot in fear of being charged another fee. Then in reviewing my bank account I see an additional charge that wasn't explained. This has made moving an awful experience. He needs lessons in customer service. I spent a great amount of money at UHaul and all the stress and time I have put into talking with people has taken time away from my jobs and my schooling. I feel as though I should be compensated. I will make my friends aware as this is a small community and something needs to be done. Who else has he done this to?kelly P.

I would not recommend Uhaul for another move. We had issues and needed to use the trailer another day due to weather and was told we could not separate the account. So I ended up paying for a truck that I didn't use with money I don't have during a financially difficult time. It's nice to know uhaul is so understanding and I will spread the word to all my friends and colleagues. That I ended up paying over $400. Nice to see a company customer oriented in time of need.william M.

Man working at desk was not friendly and didn't show me the things he was supposed to (like the locking mechanism, how to adjust the seat, etc.). I wanted to examine the truck before signing and he sighed (loudly) at this. I took photos of some scratches and when he asked why, I told him I had been burned once before on a rental. He said, "Then you should have bought the insurance." (I didn't need the insurance. Despite UHaul's dire warnings, my auto insurance DOES actually cover rental trucks.) Anyway, he sighed loudly and went inside without showing me the things he was supposed to (according to my paperwork). Truck was clean and in great condition, but I would NOT recommend this location for pickup or this person for customer service.Kelly H.

The process was quick and easy. Because of Uhaul's spotty locations and a bad record of service in the Weston WV location I had to drive 55 miles to the Buckhannon location from my old home, then back past the Buckhannon location to get to my new home, adding $40 to each of 3 rental.
