Everything was how it should be
There was no formal check out process. The person working told me to just leave the keys in the car and he will send me a digital receipt. It turned out I was in the wrong location and was charged $465.43 which could have been avoided if the representative was more attentive.
Jordan (manager) does a fine job! Syracuse could take a lesson from him
There were many employees yet there were lots of trucks clogging the driveway and customers looking for guidance. I had to chase down an employee who took the keys and said they'd send an email shortly. A day went by and I still had not received the email.
You should tell people that they'll be charged for the after hours drop off! I completed the online drop off procedure and still got charged $20 Excellent service from the guy that checked me out initially
Disorganized, no masks, took over an hour to get a uhail, no customer service, waited in line 3 times because of incorrect information.
1) Made a reservation. Got a call that the truck was not available. 2) Reservation included dollies that we're not available upon arrival 3) Got charged for a dolly that was provided

General Manager at Riverside â€œJordain Williamsâ€ provided some of the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. He insisted I would be charged and penalized for returning my truck back at a half tank even though that was what was reflected in my contract. Jordain cost me an extra hour of my time convincing him that I should not be charged any extra money because I honored the contract I signed. He insisted he had the authority to charge me further, in breach of our contract. We followed up with Uhaul customer service and filed a complaint, Jordain refused to answer the phone when customer service called making this process even further difficult. He finally returned our calls and offered a $25 credit for the trouble, which hardly makes up for the trouble he caused us yesterday. I have used uhaul many times and never experienced such poor management or handling of a situation. I am extremely disappointed in the way Jordain and his staff treated me in the Riverside location. He continually insisted he and his store had no accountability or responsibility for any mistakes the pick up location had caused. Regardless, I, the customer and user, had made no error and did not breach contact. It was very alarming to have this employee threaten me by telling me he had my credit card information and would authorize a charge even though I was insisting against it. Overall this was single handed my worst experience with Uhaul ever and I am alarmed this young man is a General Manager and has the capacity to treat other customers with such disrespect and ignorance. I would hope this note remains attached to my Uhaul account so that I never have to use this location again.

The customer service reps were great. The Burlington Rep went above and beyond to rent me a larger trailer than originally requested despite the rental location being extremely busy.
The truck I had wend we got up 35 Miles per hour it's starting fucking robot like it was going to stall

I rented a 15' truck. The inside cab hadn't been cleaned nor was the bed of the truck, the rear hubcaps were missing. Vehicle wouldn't shift out of first gear. Dolly was already detached. There were moving blankets everywhere. The gas was only filled 3/8 of a tank... I was very disappointed in the service when I went to return the rental the customer service rep didn't apologize or anything just took the keys and took down my complaint. I truly appreciate uhaul but this was just a terrible experience. I felt as if I had to clean up after the last person so that I wasn't overcharged...
The truck cab was very dirty. It had dirt on the sears and all over the dashboard and steering wheel.
The uhaul website remains bad and the mobile app check in is awkward.
The equipment i reserved was rented out to a 2nd person that picked it up before me leaving me high and dry. The agent rented me adifferent piece of equipment and appropriately discounted it but my trip was delayed nearly 1.5 hours as i needed to confirm the alternate equipment would work and to fill out new paperwork. The agent who resolved the issue was helpful but this caused a major inconvenience.
I always went to this place cuz they are always helpful and nice and they know what they doing. but this time I went there. the person at the cashier to check in. did not know what she was doing. she charged me the 20$ for there insurance fee. she did not ask me any questions on what options I would like on the insurance fee. cuz they do have 3 different options. I had to give my information all over again. they said I went over my miles but I did not. because I did the same trip 2 months before this one and make the same route and I did not get charged extra. I was over charged. the charges fee was the same 2 months ago . they did not check my van in till the next day and I got a phone call from the big office asking me if I was bringd the van back. I was not happy. I also have both papers from the last time and this time showing that I got over charged. Also the lady that checked us in for did not have a name tage on and was not perfeshal at all. she was nice but that was all. she had no clue how to do her job. she even told too witch was not make me feel any better. I will be going back there to show them. my papers and get this all taking care of. Also the manager that was there was not a nice guy. I told them the last time I was there before I left with the van . that my charges was different. he came out of the office and looked that the computer and o it looks right. did not even explain anto me and he his voice was getting mad when I challenged that pepper work.

The gentleman we worked with was amazing! He was kind and courteous. The line was out the door. I feel like the POS - registers really slow them down. This is far too busy of a location for just two people, but KNOW, they were working their butts off!!
It's not the location that seems to be the problem. I reserved a 26' truck four weeks ago. I even called again a few days prior to picking it up to be sure it would be there for me. When I arrived they only had a 10 ft truck for me, which resulted in many more trips and friends taking even more time off to help me. It doesn't seem to be a location problem, but a systematic one, which it appears you are all aware of because the procedures allow for this. I'd appreciate you refunding my money. Thank you.
