They screwed me over. I requested to add on 2 extra days to my trip. He said he was past that section but would change it afterwards. Charged me 40 bucks for the extra days and told me to just ass on 2 days to the date in my contract. I get a call on the 16 from my drop off center claiming i was late returning the equipment. Yet in reality I had a whole nother day. If he actually added the days like i got charged I would not have gotten the notice. I'm lividNicole H.

Please don't ever assign my pickup rental to the one in Winooski again... I get a text saying I have to check in online due to Covid, and when I did, I couldn't find my reservation. Worried, I talked to the staff who then directed me to talk to the manager in Winooski, since the rental was assigned there. So, I head up there, and talked to the guy about my issue about not seeing my reservation on the online site. He was absolutely rude and kept saying that he sees it on his computer. Then he gets pissed, raised his voice, and says he does not have time for this, even though he had time to fold his underwear in front of me. The next day when I went to pick up my rental, the online site wouldn't let me. So I had to go back to Riverside and make a whole new reservation which was luckily available for pickup right away. The staff at that time was very professional, polite, and completed the paperwork in a snap.JUNE N.
Again, I have no problem with the people that I interacted with. The staff was working hard because they were having to work the facility alone, which led to delays, but they did their best. This location is too small for this sort of job. A larger site is needed. This is the second weekend in a row where I rented a trailer at a different u-haul site, only to have it transferred up to River Road within minutes. If the other sites so not have these trailers, stop advertising that they do.RICHARD M.

On the truck I rented, the mirrors were not adjustable, the visor on the driver's side was missing (which made it very difficult driving around sunset), the cigarette lighter wouldn't work with my phone charger (that works just fine with the lighter in my car), and the A/C worked about half the time. The Uhaul parking lot was so tight that I had to park next door and carry items between my car and the Uhaul. The employees seemed very rushed and overworked- the man helping me got me to the truck then walked away to help someone else while I was trying to ask him how I returned the truck after hours. Got the job done, but things just seemed more difficult than they needed to be, especially compared to previous experiences.Jessie C.

We had the WORST Uhaul experience. First, we booked a 9am pickup at a 24/7 pickup. The app and website failed to recognize our location so we could not get the code for the lockbox. After 2 hours on the phone and an overall 3 hours of trying to get the technology to work they transferred us to Uhaul of Burlington. When we arrived there was no customer parking left. Jordain however was GREAT and he helped us get a truck that suited our needs. Uhaul general customer services sucks though, you should not be on hold for more than 15 minutes in my opinion. You need to hire more peopleâ€¦ also don't offer services you cannot manage.Joel P.

The people who work at this location are excellent, however the site is very small for being a regional hub. It would be much easier if it were not always a requirement to go to this site to pick up everything. I scheduled two pickups at another site for back to back weekends in June a month ago, and while the online store said that I was all set, each time I was called by u-haul to tell me that they were transferring my pickup to River road. If trailers are not available at other sites, the website should not show them as being available.RICHARD M.

I made my reservation weeks in advance, and chose U-Haul because the drop off location was convenient to my son's new apartment. When I dropped off the truck I was told they weren't accepting drop off trucks at this location and that I should have received a text that morning with the new drop off (which was 28 miles away). I reminded the employee that I would not have checked my text message as I was DRIVING. Your specific instructions even warn about texting when driving. It is horrible service to expect a customer to drop off a truck at a different location requiring at 56 mile round trip after a confirmed reservation. I was insistent and did leave the truck, but the experience was not what I would expect from any business. Can you imagine if an airline changed your arrival city to meet their convenience?Gary K.
The online pick up system was not working and I had to wait an hour for the 1 attendant to get to me. Further, the lot itself is jammed with vehicles and then additionally you have to wait while they move trucks around to get the one you have been assigned. Not a great experience.AMYMARGO S.
