The drop off didn’t record the equipment being returned. Three weeks later I get a not returned notice from uhaul.
Trevor ASignage would be important. I could see the U-Haul equipment in the back parking lot but there is not one sign to indicate where the office is. When I walked into the hotel I asked at the front desk and all the attendant said was picking up or dropping off. He then requested the key, asked where I had parked it and said he would send me an email. That was the end of our conversation. When he sent me the email/receipt he had charged me an extra $58.80 which was never authorized by me. So I will be making a formal complaint and charge for unauthorized access to my credit card.
Alex HI originally booked to pick up in Deadmans Flats but the reservation wasn’t held, so this was the next closest. Fortunately I have relatives in the city that could pick it up but it was highly stressful to see my truck reservation disappear with no notice.
Chris DReassigned and asked to drop truck at this location versus where I am paying for u-box storage already. Staff barely spoke English. Scammer Wanted to charge me again for the U-Haul I already paid for. Both locations needed well over 15 mins on the phone with their boss to figure anything out. What should be a fast process was clearly more in line with their culture, timewise. After a long drive and unloading, not nearly as efficient as Greenview. 3rd truck rental in a month, worst experience at both ends.
