I had a verbal agreement to return the equipment on the day my contract ended but after the location closed for the day. Three days later I received an email that the equipment was not returned, but after being on a customer service call for 25 minutes it was finally resolved. The location had the bare minimum equipment and I just felt like they tried to take advantage by reporting it unreturned and then returned late to get more money out of me.

I am working a job I will be moving every year.I will not be during uhaul.I was given a tow dolly that was broke.I was given straps incase.The tow dolly strap came off driving through the Tennessee Kentucky mountains. Made an 8 he trip 15 hrs.No Uhaul open on memorial day night.Penski definitely got my business. Very dangerous

The man at the gas station didn't seem to know what he was doing. He kept walking away from me to serve customers in the convenience store without telling me what he was doing or whether I needed to stay. When he finally finished what he needed to do, he never told me that I was set and free to go. Terrible customer service.

The check in process took a long time. The man tried to charge me a hundred dollars more than my reservation stated. At first he couldn't produce a receipt. He seemed flippant and apathetic. My blankets were not in the truck. The drop off location was not correct per my reservation. Nothing about the pick up location went as stated.

I had to get my wife to help me attach a 6x12 trailer i been there twice and both times i had to load myself i will not be going back to this uhaul there is no customer service what so ever and how do i get a review bwfore i get a final receipt

The attendant at the Belwood Sunoco had a phone earpiece in his ear the entire time he waited on us. It was difficult to tell if he was addressing us or his phone conversation. He did not walk out to do a Pretrip inspection. He apparently was not aware there were furniture pads and hand trucks in the back which we did not rent. Lucky for them we are honest. Generally unprofessional business transaction. Also, this was not our original chosen pick up location. The day before our scheduled pickup we were sent an email stating the Bellwood location was our pickup store but we had actually reserved for Patty’s Truck Stop in Adairsville. We had not received a call notifying us of this, my wife just happened to check the emails and see it. We called and they stated someone had tried to call but I had 0 missed calls. They had no idea and no documentation as to why the pickup was switched. We changed the pickup back to Patty’s. We arrived to pick up our truck on time 1 pm on Sunday and he did not have a truck, it was broken down. We had to call customer service, speak to 3-4 different people before finally getting our reservation changed to Bellwood to pick up a truck. Thankful they had one or we would have had a huge problem as we needed the entire truck for our load. We were able to call and get the $50 credit as guaranteed and we did greatly appreciate that.

After I paid and the clerk got my info, he said it out there. I had to attach the dual axial trailer by my self. My back is still hurting from the strain of lifting it and trying to get it onto my hitch by myself.

I know nothing that you can do to make it better my experience with U-Haul truck was great the trucks were very clean and very well taken care of

First, I made an online reservation, and got a confirmation email. Then, I went to that location to pick up my truck, and the owner of the small boutique (not a UHaul store) had not even heard of my order, and didn't have any trucks. After debating it for a while, she called UHaul and was told my truck was on the other side of town at a gas station. So I drove to the gas station, and waited while the store clerk sold gas and cigarettes. When he finally got to me, they didn't have the size truck I had reserved. They would give me a smaller one for the same price. Then the store owner took over and gave me a 26 foot truck for the price of a 17 foot, which was nice, I guess. But, I got stuck with a 26 foot truck, way too big. Apparently UHaul reservations at small independents are useless.
