The equipment had broken windshield wipers, like really broken. The front windshield was not cleaned off from snow, nor was the lot around the truck ready. On top of it one of the employees seemed to huff when we were ready and checked in online, like it was a hard job to hand over keys. The online process was long, prefer going to a full service legit uhaul moving forward. Not a great experience.

The most unsafe vehicle I've ever driven. The cabin was dirty and smells awful l had to clean it before I drove off the lot. The wipers were not good, did not saw this before I left. Steering was not working well. The location is fine just the customer service needs work. Not sure if I would recommend it moving forward.
Brian FMost cars now have keyless fobs, so we aren't used to taking keys out of an ignition anymore. I accidentally locked the keys on the uhaul just as I was returning it... I couldn't believe that there was no spare key at the rental counter. I had to pay out of pocket over $300 to a locksmith for a simple mistake that could be avoided if there was a spare key kept inside.

Armando JUnfortunately, the equipment was not cleaned — I had to clean it myself before use. It clearly hadn’t been properly inspected or maintained prior to pickup, which was disappointing. I expected a higher standard of care. I also asked the rental agent what would happen if I was delayed due to traffic or unloading while returning the equipment, and was told I would be charged late fees with no flexibility. He insisted the truck had to be returned before 9:00 PM, before the shop closed, which added a lot of pressure. The overall experience felt rushed and inflexible. A little more attention to equipment condition and a more accommodating approach to return logistics would go a long way in improving the customer experience.
