Marvin DThe location at 240 Bell Street in Southern Pines made a reservation for a vehicle that was not available. I only found out when I visited the site- no phone call from your company- unacceptable. They then made me a reservation through the online reservation center for a van to be picked up 7/30/2026 on 7/27 at 1107 Old US Hwy 1, Southern Pines, NC 28387. I went, looked at the van and verified with Trenton. Trenton called for me to pick up on 7/29 at 4:00 PM as he couldn't be there at the pick up time on 7/30. At 2:48 (an hour and 12 minutes before pick up) a female from uhaul called to cancel the van. She stated it needed to be serviced. Unacceptable- how could they not have known it was scheduled for service at 9:24 AM that same day when I received confirmation (6 hours and 24 minutes prior). I found the Cameron location to be amazing and the gentleman there was knowledgeable, efficient, accommodating and kind. I would only recommend this location for rentals. I was truly disappointed. In December, we used Penske without issue. This is who I would recommend now locally if people did not want to travel to Cameron from our area.
