The location at 240 Bell Street in Southern Pines made a reservation for a vehicle that was not available. I only found out when I visited the site- no phone call from your company- unacceptable. They then made me a reservation through the online reservation center for a van to be picked up 7/30/2026 on 7/27 at 1107 Old US Hwy 1, Southern Pines, NC 28387. I went, looked at the van and verified with Trenton. Trenton called for me to pick up on 7/29 at 4:00 PM as he couldn't be there at the pick up time on 7/30. At 2:48 (an hour and 12 minutes before pick up) a female from uhaul called to cancel the van. She stated it needed to be serviced. Unacceptable- how could they not have known it was scheduled for service at 9:24 AM that same day when I received confirmation (6 hours and 24 minutes prior). I found the Cameron location to be amazing and the gentleman there was knowledgeable, efficient, accommodating and kind. I would only recommend this location for rentals. I was truly disappointed. In December, we used Penske without issue. This is who I would recommend now locally if people did not want to travel to Cameron from our area.

My below average rating is due to the unreliability of your UHaul app. My pick up location was changed with little notice and when I arrived to pick my truck the app was not working. I called the 1-809 number and Rodney helped me. He was excellent!

Gerardo VEasy Storage U-Haul location was a great experience as a local dealer. I normally use the big U-Haul locations as they are usually faster. However, Rodney contacted me before the day of my rental and assured me it would be a quick transaction and he was right. They had the trailer hooked up to the truck before I got there and called me when I arrived to finish the transaction it took about 5 - 10 minutes. It was a great experience.
