How U-Haul Reviews WorkIt was hard to tell if we were in the right place. There were other UHaul trucks there on the lot, but the facility itself was closed. No personnel at all there. We had to call the UHaul number to confirm that we were in the correct place. He also helped us walk through the Self Return app process. It was not an easy process to use!
harriette NThis was a horrible experience. Truck share didn’t recognize this was a contactless location. Then when we got someone on the phone we had to try opening four different lock boxes before determining the manager of the site hadn’t left us a key. The crowded little parking lot is not maintained at all. The tall weeds along the road frontage block the view of the fast moving, truck-heavy traffic making it very dangerous to get out of the lot. We ended up with a different truck that was too big and didn’t have an appliance dolly. I had to rent one from Home Depot for $30. The truck only had less than half a tank but I was charged over $11 for gas on return. I just paid because it wasn’t worth another 1/2 hour waiting to try to get through to someone. The way I figure, U-Haul owes me $30 and a big apology. I’ll try a different company next time. And, even if I used U-Haul, I would never use truck share and never ever go to that location.
Julia HOvergrown weeds, trash, and even abandoned furniture surrounding the trucks. The building has been abandoned for years. I took photos and would like to forward to you. Please send an email link that I can attach the photos. U-Haul should not damage their image by having this a pickup location.
