We asked while checking out if we could drop uhaul after hours if moving took more time and were told yes, but not told that there would be a whole day fee added, which I only found out later when I called and spoke to a customer service person. Also rate in-person was more than when I set it up online originally and he had to re-enter it and kept saying he correctly because Uhaul was just weird that way apparently and would just give higher prices and not allow a cargo van for less than $89 and he didn’t know why. Strange thing to say, and I felt like we were being taken advantage of. When we brought the uhaul in later we had called and gotten the okay twice and then they called us asking where it was.Then when returning it they claimed nobody made note of the fact that we called twice. And of course, at the end I was charged way more than I expected and way more than it had originally told me when I was cooking online I understood after calling that I would be charged an additional $20 per day, but I had already paid in person for the first day and was then charged again 3x that price because we had to extend the uhaul til the next day at 6pm. That isn’t right.

BRUCE RI could find no scan bar for the truck pick up. The business was closed so I can't fault them except for the scan bar . The whole experience was very bad and frustrating trying to pick up the truck. It should have taken 10 minutes but it took an hour and a half. I had someone waiting for me so it wasted both of our time. All this was after the pick up location and time was changed without notice or approval.
John Ostaff were friendly and helpful. Great experience. We will be back!!
