We dropped the uhaul off right before closing on 12/07/18, the employees advised us to give them the keys and they would check it in. I thought everything was good to go until I got a voicemail the next day asking where the uhaul was, I believe it was from a Lisa. Confused I called the store back and spoke with a Caitlin. After Caitlin looked into it, she realized that the key was simply hanging in their office and the uhaul had been parked by one of their employees in a regular customer parking spot. Why they couldn't check to see if they had a key before charging me for an additional day of use, I don't know. But due to their disorganization, I won't be returning and I will advise others to steer clear.

I had very very humiliated customer service from the Field Relief Manager Mr Rob Gentry. I will never visit this location again or rent any equipments due to my recent experience. If you have an out of State Driver license along with an accent then you are a robber and you are under investigation by Mr Rob Gentry so he can make sure you are returning his equipment. This type of mentality against minority surround the White Supremacists. The most important duty of a Field Relief Manager is high customer service which is clearly he failed at it. I suggest changing his title to Field humiliation Manager, since he will do an outstanding job. Quotes: Treat people the way you want to be treated. Nature made no man a slave.

The trailer needed some critical maintenance. It produced a strong odor (axle grease?) when towed with a load. I would inspect the wheel bearings to ensure a safe tow for a future renter.

Although the service was outstanding when we picked up our trailer. After traveling for three days through the rain one day. All of our belongings three feet back from the door were soaked with water that leaked through the trailer. Very aggravating.

My initial phone call to reserve the truck was a little difficult, but I think it was due to availability. The representative was kind of short and seemed annoyed at my request, but she helped me and got my reservation done.

The location was very nice. Every person I encountered was friendly and courteous. From the gentleman helping with the trailer, to the cashier and the manager, Rob Gentry. Rob helped me as much as possible and provided me advice in how to deal with my current situation. Too bad my initial rental wasn't from a place like this.

I was told I'd be charged 20.83 for renting a open trailer which I specified which one I wanted. Then we went outside and it was not the right trailer. I told the guy outside helping me and he said we will just switch it no problem. The next day I check my bank account and it was charged the 20.83, then another transaction for 6.34. Nobody said anything when I was there or called me to let me know it was going to be more. Or I would not have rented it.

I have rented a U-haul twice within the last two weeks. Each time I attempted use the mobile check-in with no luck. It simply does not work, so I would have to go in the office every time. When I eventually go in and check-in the lady still has to drive the truck around to me so how was I ever expected to check-in with my phone in the first place. The overall process takes way to long to complete, but it is cheap. Also, every time that I have reserved online I get a call within 10 minutes of the pick up time telling me that the vehicle is not available at that location. So I end up having to go to a different location; which causes me to waste more time and pay even more because it charges by the mile. The only reason I continue to use U-haul is because of the price. If renting a truck from Enterprise were cheaper I would definitely use them. Many of these issues aren't particular to this location, but a combination of this one and the location in Plano. There seems to be a fundamental issue with the mobile check-in. I will say that the staff at this location was friendly and accommodating.

Latch on the trailer needed to be lubricated, as it was hard to operate. Routing in the parking lot meant I had to drive out of the parking lot and re-enter in order to pick up my equipment, then I had to wait on the one person working outside. Not a bad experience; just a few minor issues.

$.79 a mile!?! I run a moving company and with rates like this, I’m forced to choose cost over convenience. That and all the trucks I get are dented and scratched all over the place!! I run a high end service and will only rent your trucks when I’m in dire need. This last truck had the check engine light on the whole time. Why!?! Don’t you care as a company?? Your employees don’t.
