1. Don't hang up on the customer. It usually makes them angry. 2. Sweep the uhaul. Nobody wants someone's nasty leftover food with their furniture. 3. Be nice. That's always a good start. 4. Have the equipment you say you will provide available and do not use "we haven't had dollies or furniture pads for five years" as reasoning for your inability to provide what the customer ordered 5. Actually inspect the uhaul so it doesn't break down when the customer leaves and delay them for seven hours 6. Actually provide a drop-off location instead of saying "I don't know, call around and figure it out"

The gentleman did not walk outside with me to double check the truck. The gas was only filled to 3/4 of a tank. The truck was filthy on the inside with left over Chik-fila food and the bed of the truck was filthy with old dirt and trash.

My rental wasn't listed as a rental when I got there because of problems with uhaul. Took me over aN hour to get the rental.

My primary complaint is that U-Haul denied my request for a refund of 2 days early delivery. I had PAID for an extra 5 days above my normal contract of 4 days. I felt that it was a favor to U-Haul to estimate my overtime and pay in advance for it. HOWEVER, my husband broke his ribs and we had to return 2 days earlier than expected. NOBODY in U-Haul district customer service NOR at Corporate Customer Service could or would make the $40 refund for the unused extra days. VERY POOR CORPORATE POLICY!!!

The U-Haul was not attached properly so when we pulled out of the parking lot onto the street the U-Haul came off and as we stopped at a red light the U-Haul slid into the rear end of our car.

It was a bit out of the way and I had to use this location because the one in Tuscaloosa did not have the equipment I needed. The biggest issue is that it cost me more to rent from here than Tuscaloosa.

Location has no products available. Blankets, Boxes etc. Blankets were ordered at the time I placed order for truck / toe dolly and when I arrived at facility there was none. I never received any information regarding this until I arrived.

I picked up the truck and there and it wad almost on empty so I stopped and put 30 dollars of gas in it and when we dropped it off they said it didn't have a 1/4th of a tank so I had to stop and put 20 dollars more gas in it. I should be reimbursed for my 20 dollars worth of gas.

I had to go an hour away to pickup my truck which once we started down the road found out that not only did the airconditioner not work it blew hot air. Worst off, we had to keep the truck because of our dead line and the availability in our area of other trucks and drive 4 and a half hours to our destination in the 98 degree weather outside, and hot air blowing on our feet. It was a miserable experience and to top it off, the truck was dirty with cigarette butts still in the ash tray. I would not say I had a pleasant experience at all. When I move again, this will definately influence my next renting decision.

I rented a truck and trailer and had to draft a local person to assist in hooking up the trailer. It should've been communicated by uhual that a non uhaul location will not be able to assist female customers to hook up trailers.
