On 05/08, I picked up a U-Haul truck from your location and immediately after driving off, the truck began sputtering, hesitating, and vibrating badly while stopped at traffic lights. At several points, it felt like the truck was going to shut off completely. Thankfully, my destination was only about six miles away. After arriving at my storage unit, loading and unloading my belongings, I stopped to get gas before returning the truck. At that point, the condition of the vehicle became even worse. The vibration and hesitation increased significantly, and the check engine light came on while I was driving. I was traveling with my daughter, and this situation placed both of us in danger. We could have easily been stranded on the road due to the unsafe condition of the vehicle. I contacted the pickup location, and the representative acknowledged that the truck was not in good condition and confirmed that the check engine light was on. I also called customer service and filed a formal complaint. My complaint file number is 5790174, and I am currently waiting for a U-Haul manager to contact me. I am extremely concerned that this vehicle was rented out despite its condition, and I would like this matter investigated promptly. I also request appropriate compensation for the unsafe experience and the risk placed on me and my daughter. Thank you for your attention to this serious matter.

joel fThey were great, the guy helping was friendly and helpful. The only thing that isn't part of U Haul return is some sort of documentation that says it was returned in good condition.
Grant CI got the trailer and went back to my house. The next morning we started to load the trailer and we could not open the trailer as there was a Uhaul padlock on it. I had to drive 35 miles and round trip it took a quarter of a tank to get a trailer without a lock.
