Moving day is stressful enough. Now imagine picking up your rental car which has no gas. The worker let us know that there was a gas station around the corner and to fill it up and bring it back with 1/4 of it back and they will refund the amount I had to add. No problem right? Well that’s what I thought until the rental car made it just outside the storage property. I informed the worker that the van was in the center dividing lane right outside and he rudely responded with “I told you it had no gas.” To which I responded “well I assumed some gas to make it to the gas station” to which he said “well I said no gas” I then asked him “well what was I suppose to say?” And he rudely responded with “well you could go somewhere else.” I spent 30mins walking to the gas station and figuring it out. When I returned the vehicle 10mins before the return time and completing the return process he comes out and insisted on taking the keys hurrying me along before I give him the gas receipts. This comment section is to ask me what can you improve for the next customer. I’d say don’t allow mediocre third parties to represent your company.

I did not drop off the truck on Nordoff Street. I dropped it off in Lake Elsinore at Machado storage. And Vanessa was very helpful.
LONNIE PI liked how this location had a good size parking lot with plenty of room to maneuver the rental vehicle.

JACQUELINE DAddress and actual location are very different. Very large complex, terrible signage and Google Maps takes you to the opposite side of the facility and on a Sunday there is “no one to ask where to go”. Once I finally reached someone at the facility, the employee (contracted U-haul location) was rude and said they didn’t rent vehicles until 1200, even though I had a reservation for 11:00 (and I chose this location specifically because it was open at that time on a Sunday!). I had found my way around to his location during the time we were arguing about my reservation time on the phone. When I walked in and showed him my pickup confirmation time he continued to be rude and said that U-haul had screwed up and that they were not open to rent vehicles until 1200. And I told him that wasn’t my fault. He called someone at U-haul and told them they had their “opening times wrong”. He finally mellowed a little and said he would help me. He told us the vehicle was completely empty, and directed us to the closest gas station but when I received my contract via e-mail (nothing provided in person) after I left, the document showed it was “rented” with a 1/4 of a tank of gas. Um, no! I picked this location because I thought it might be easier and quicker than the actual “storefront” U-haul locations. But based on the overall experience , I’m sorry I rented from here. I am happy to say the person working when I returned the vehicle was more pleasant.
