Equipment was super unsafe. The truck suspension is broken and it bounce so much that makes it impossible to drive it. Also the direction of the vehicle handling its super feels loose. This truck if not fixed will get into an accident soon

Worst experience of my life the u haul I reserved for a whole month in advance was not available had to drive back and forward from different locations to get a uhaul when I finally found one the guy did not want to release the truck for the price I reverse for I call uhaul directly about 4 times until the issue was resolved when I got to my destination I also had reserved a storage unit with uhaul and they did not give me the storage I reserved so I was charged more uhaul over all was a very bad experience I would not recommend it to any of my family members or friends

Truck was damaged. Had leak inside top right of box. Jimmy job with caulking was done inside the top right of box and did not properly seal off the box. Noticed this after entire inside was flooded. Parked it overnight in prep for move and didn't realize until next day afternoon flooded inside. Complete waste of time. Had workers arrive for moving and had to pay them, had to go to 15 miles away for a new uhaul in mad rush, had to delay my moving plans and loss of money.

I rented the truck and soon realized there was no dolly and worse no ramp to load or offload my items which cost me $40 more for the movers because everything had to be lifted. I was running 30 mins late for the return and l called them to let them know and l was told l had to pay for another day which l did. I went to uhaul.com to finalize my return and couldn't find any tab for return. I dropped off the truck on Saturday at 6pm and called in to confirm that the return went well and informed the manager of my experience and he said sorry there is nothing l can do to help you ma'am. I will never rent from Storcal again and will not recommend to my friends either. Worst moving experience. I was charged $153.00
Easy drop off. Using the website and uploading pics was a little unexpected and confusing.
The U-Haul had no gas when I picked it up and the employee said, â€œoh people steal the gas, guess you have to go to the gas station immediatelyâ€

The guy was rude and didn't seem to want to be there. We dropped our truck off at 3:30p and it was not processed until 11a the next day. I received a call asking me to turn the truck in when I already had. So, I had to spend 20 minutes on the phone to make sure everything was fine. I am so disappointed in how UHAUL has mad my move a stressful experience. And how no one seems to want to help and at the end of the day it seems like the company just wants the money and doesn't care about it's customers.
My original reservation was moved to Chatsworth due to no 20ft truck being available at Oxnard street Stor-Cal. When I arrived in Chatsworth, the young man didn't have any record of the equipment (hand trucks) I'd reserved and nor did he have any blankets, which is also reserved. He got on the phone with the Oxnard location and found they had some blankets there. Since it was the best I could get, I accepted them and drove to that location. However, when we went to Oxnard street Stor-Cal the gentleman there didn't want to let us take any blankets because he hadn't been aware ours was a one-way rental. We ended up being given 1 dozen but is reserved 2 dozen. 1 dozen wasn't enough. The movers were very nice and provided me with blankets but they charge $14 per blanket. The truck was sticky and didn't appear to have been cleaned. It functioned fine and the remainder of the move went smoothly.

The U-Haul representative was efficient and friendly. His expertise made my experience a very good one.
If the customer who has returned the U-Haul doesn't fill up the tank enough or gas is siphoned overnight to the point of leaving the tank empty, recommend to make it a U-Haul policy that the location needs to fill up the tank to at least 1/8 before the next customer picks it up. That was an unforeseen inconvenience.
