The air conditioner did not work well.That did not go well with the next 3 days which were 90 degrees & above. That caused me to rent for more days. Because that site is closed on Mondays in which I rented they didn’t get to see the condition of the vehicle nor clean it. The window visor was broken & there was trash in the truck which included drinking cups & smoke debri which I cleaned. I think the owners trusted the renter but could not check behind them. Also the speedometer didn’t work well

I was called the day before my pick up and told that I would have to change locations due to truck availability.I would not even call this new address a pick up location. There were no pick up instructions. The truck was left on a street. There was no parking lot. There was nobody available at the pick up location. There were some lock boxes. A man eventually came out of a nearby apartment and gave me a phone number to call. I called the number where another man told me a lock box combination. The bar/restaurant located right next door to the lockbox had a sign on the window, saying that it had been closed down by the police due to gun violence. Very unsafe area. I was there with my daughter and would never recommend that anybody go to the location to pick up a U-Haul truck.
Alison LTruck smelled like cigarettes. Dolly and hand truck were part of my order and were not available when I picked up the truck. This was very challenging during my move and I would have made other plans had I known these would not be available. When I went into the business to ask about the dolly, the person there was unable to help me and I had to use my cell phone to call the actual owner of Allure. The check in process was cumbersome. To take a picture of the side of the truck, you have to step into traffic on a busy road.
