This process couldn’t be worse. The uhaul organization is horrendous. I was sent to 5 different locations the morning of my rental to find a truck to use. I was late for the movers I had scheduled at my apartment. My truck was reserved in advance yet I still had to go from location to location and none of them had the truck. Absolutely awful experience. I will not be using again. And will not recommend. I’ve already shared my ridiculous experience and the lack of customer service with others.

The staff was very nice and they accommodated my specific needs without an issue. They were very helpful. I would highly recommend this location. Their pick up site is on Madison but the website says Roosevelt. That’s the only thing that was time consuming and could have been prevented with proper updated information online. Overall, nice experience. Thank you!

Vehicle was super dirty. Representative didn't even check the condition of vehicle. I made a reservation with dolly. Dolly was not ready and representative said I have to pick up the Dolly at different location spending extra miles; ridiculous. Service is so poor. It was my last U-haul use in my life. U-haul service in this location will significantly&negatively affect the value and reputation of U-haul. Representative should be well-trained and more responsible.

There was probably a short circuit in the left door so whenever I opened the door I got a mild shock. By the end my hand started paining.

This was my first time using U-haul and I doubt I will recommend it to anyone of use this service again. My original order was for a different location, where the employee didn’t know how to handle self pick up. As a result, I wasn’t able to get a truck and went to a different location that was bad as well but at least they gave me this smelly truck without a ramp. I lost time and the most frustrating thing is that no one could help me and no one knew what they can do.

Not enough supply. Did not have the correct size truck I ordered, or the pads I ordered. Employees weren’t attentive or empathetic when I was annoyed by my incorrect order. I got literally nothing that I asked for- and was instead given a truck that was way too big. I travelled 2000 miles, so the large truck was a major inconvenience.

The whole location set up is not acceptable I walked into a barbershop and just got stared at. Then on guy finally asked me was i there to get a uhal and that he had to call the rep on the phone. I talked with the rep and had to give him my info all over again in the phone. I would like to be able to see who i am giving my info to. The guys in the babrershop made it uncomfortable its wa just weird. When i went to drop the key off the location tracker on the UPS app was not working so it would not take into account that I was in front of the shop and trying to drop the truck off. I called customer service and had to wait for someone to pick up the phone at least 35 minutes and when someone finally did come to the phone she is not able to help me. Overall bad experience

I felt very unsafe at the location. My pickup location was also changed last minute via a text. The workers were not the most professional people I have worked with. Upon my arrival the truck wasn’t ready and they cleaned out the car while I was waiting there causing me to be late to my appointment. Furthermore, I purchased additional insurance and the contact I was emailed stated that I didn’t not have any extra coverage. Upon dropping off the truck I was told I would have a reciept emailed to me in 5 minutes and it took 40 minutes for them to complete the check of the truck and email me the receipt. I was dissatisfied with the customer service and contract quality and would not recommend uhaul to anyone.

Wow. No one on site when we arrived to pick up vehicle. Had to make several phone calls and retrieve truck on our own. Not what I expected.

I don't appreciate the fact that I was over charged for the rental of this vehicle. When I checked my credit card statement, I saw that I was overcharged. So then I went back to look at the uhaul statement and saw that the records stated that not only was I charged for extra miles but for extra gas as well. I am a single parent without an additional dollar to spare. I don't appreciate being taken advantage of!

The truck I received was not clean and there was a stench of cigarettes and sweat inside. Unfortunately as I was on a schedule I had to use it and clean it up myself.

When I arrived at this location, there is no clear signs as to where the u-haul building was located. There was only a u-haul sign with a phone number on it. I had called the number on the sign to figure out where their entrance was located only to find out that the guy had already left for the day not realizing had one more scheduled rental prior to closing. I scheduled to rent a van at 6:45pm and I arrived at 6:42pm and this location was scheduled to close at 7pm. He told me on the phone to give him 5 minutes and he will be back. He did not come back. Rather another person called me back 10 minutes later from another u-haul location and completed the contract and other rental procedures from his end. He did apologize for the inconvenience but I was running on a very tight schedule and I was now running 15 minutes behind schedule. He gave me the code to the lock box, which I'm assumed contained all the keys to their vehicles since the lock box contained 2 sets of keys for the vehicles parked at this location. I grabbed the keys and got into my rental van which was dirty and not cleaned at all and a 1/8 full gas tank. Thankfully, I really only needed the vehicle for 2 hours and was only planning to drive this vehicle a few miles but regardless, that's a ridiculously low gas tank. Overall, I got the vehicle and was able to move what I intended to move that day but the service was terrible and an inconvenience, the van was dirty, and the gas tank was almost empty.

The location was supposed to be open but was closed when we arrived. The location had no record of my express check in. Someone arrived to help us but the hitch was not installed properly and I had stop enroute to fix the problem. The trailer lights were not functional and there was no replacement.

truck was at the right location. then gave me the wrong address for the new location. once i arrived, the uhaul representative was still 30 min late.

The location was closed on Sundays and there were no instructions to pick up the truck. I was on hold with uhaul for 30 minuets before finally teaching someone who had to then call the owner of the uhaul to call me with the instructions.
