The guy who does the rentals hides in the back. One of the mechanics had to go and get him. I waited 15 minutes. Not very good service.

The people there weren't really helpful and just made it seem having to deal with Uhaul customers was a burden for thier mechanic shop. I usually don't go to 2nd party Uhaul dealers and that's why. Also no one was wearing face masks who worked there. They actually made jokes and laughed because I was wearing one. Just unprofessional!

This is my second experience with Uhaul and both times I have had the same problem! I reserved a 10' truck for Saturday at 9am. The reservation gave me a pick up address at 5801 W. MONTROSE AVE AND I called customer service just to make sure my reservations were fine, the young lady said yes. Saturday, 8/29, comes and my brother ubers it to go get the truck there at about 8:30am, the gentleman says there is no reservation and that he doesn't carry that size truck. My brother calls and tells me what happened and all I said to myself was "OMG, NOT AGAIN!!!" All of a sudden I get a call from a gentleman named Roy asking if I was still going to get the truck, I told him that my brother is there but they are saying we don't have a reservation...then I paused and asked Roy the address he is calling from and he stated they were at 7200 W. ADDISON. That location was completely out of our way. It was already past 9am and we were running behind, my brother worked that afternoon, my brother then ubered it to the Addison location and gets the truck and doesn't get to us till about 10am. I filed a complaint with CS and she too was able to verify that they failed to give me a call prior to the moving day. That made me even more frustrated! I told the rep that I deserve a discount because this has happened before and I did nothing but this time im pissed and I it wasn't fair to me. The rep took my info and said someonr will call me back. My brother is frustrated because we completely hit all types of congestion and risked my brothers time to get to work. We finally wrap up and notice that we had to turn the truck in by 3pm which we wouldn't make. My brother gets there, turns in the truck and we get slapped with a lovely bill of $123.38! I called customer service because I was unsure about the charges and she said it was the mileage. That's ridiculous, how about you provide me a discount for the stress and frustration you caused us and the unnecessary uber trips from one location to another! After all this I am unsure if I can recommend anyone at all. Next time I may just hire professional movers to avoid the chaos.

None of the workers at the repair center were wearing masks. However, they were friendly and speedy with both the check in and check out processes.

The manager at the location gave me the wrong vehicle. Eveything went smoothly, but when I had to fill out mileage at the end, it was off because I was given the wrong vehicle

Was charged for 4 days of rental but rented equipment for 3 days.

Clean the inside of the vehicle. I wiped all surfaces and ended up with five black lysol wipes. Specially during covid this should be standard procedure.

First the truck steering wheel was grossly dirty and sticky so I had to seriously clean and wipe down and with Covid-19 I would think you were cleaning these trucks in between uses and it was obvious this wasn't done. Maybe its the facility to blame because not only was there a large gathering of bikers hanging in lot with the owner and mechanics with NO MASK. Not one had a mask, no social distancing at all and a little rude when I tried to get the key. This was supposed to be no contact and I had to wait 10 minutes inside the place for someone to give me the key where again he had no mask but I certainly did. On return about 10 people hanging in front of entrance i had to drop key off and no masks but me.

Moved my location one day before pickup to a location 10 miles away causing me to change plans. Location also did not have moving blankets and couldn't get any for me.

I was overcharged for my mileage by double the amount of miles driven. Good think I took pictures of the odometer. Rating would improve if there was better more honest charges.
