This location was fine. My son had a HORRIBLE experience with the UHaul site closest to his studio apartment in Chicago. (nearest to 840 W. Montrose Ave.) Had prepaid. Available vehicle had check engine light on. Had him waiting 4 hours. Son suggested they contact another site to have a vehicle sent. Issued refund, but $ not available for 3 days. ABSOLUTELY CRAPPY SERVICE. I drove in from Wisconsin to help him get a truck from Fullerton facility the next day.

The app for dropping off the rental during off hours was not working. The Share Location feature did not work and the setting on my phone was correct. However, the customer service person who assisted me was extremely helpful and talked me thru how to leave the rental car without using the app.

It would help to have a key return box more evident than a small hole in the door. It was difficult to find at night and being exhaust from the moving process made it even more tiring. Besides that, it was an overall good experience.

Everyone at this location was excellent. The manager was friendly and immediately helpful, and the people who were behind the desk were quick to help me get things done. The only issues I had were with the app. I like that the app allowed me to reserve, pick-up, and drop off a van without interaction (in theory). But there are a few steps I wish were handled before I went to pick up the van. For instance, the website told me a photo of my license is optional. Then when I went to pick up the van, it said it was required. I don't mind the requirement, but it was 15 degrees outside. The last thing I wanted to do was stand in the cold taking pictures of my license in the middle of a parking lot. Same goes for a few more preliminary questions (like other person to contact). Instead, I would rather all requirements to be taken care of during the reservation process and then a full explanation of the pick-up process when I arrive at the pick-up location so that I wouldn't have to figure all of that out on the spot. That said, once I got there, a representative at the location was more than happy to help, and was patient with me while I got everything set up. Thanks for reading, and have a happy Thanksgiving.

They did not explain to me that the trailer side above the the wheels did not move . So I had to climb out the car window after I scacthed my door . And the Milwaukee Appleton Ave location services on the night of November 5 lied to me . They told me that I couldn’t return the trailer I rented to there location, because I didn’t purchase it from that location and they had no room.
