U-haul contacted me twice to tell me that my originally selected drop off location was at maximum capacity and sent me to SSS Auto Repair instead. I called the manager to confirm the drop off, and he explained that he was maxed out for space but accepted my rental truck anyway...thank you! Got a call 40 minutes after dropping off that U-haul wanted to change my drop off location again!???

The location itself was not the problem the major issue was the change of drop off location that was made by ugaul without our consent. It made the entire experience horrible. We spent two hours traveling to the drop off location we did not choose when the one we made the reservation for was 10 minutes away. Customer service was horrible, long wIt times and not much concern for our inconvenience. I will never use UHaul again . It was horrible.

When the truck was returned the site was overwhelmed with returns and the person we dealt with was definitely not having a good day. I completely understand what it is like to be in this position. We were told to put the truck in the alley which we did and the individual we dealt with was a little short with us, which again I understand. You could tell he was really a nice person who was very frustrated and felt victimized by how the returns were scheduled. The lesson is for the scheduling office to see what it could do to avoid these situations in the future. For the person we dealt with, I know this can be hard, but, when the "brown matter hits the whirling blade" try not to share it with the client.

The guy at the desk had a terrible attitude. He originally told me he was going to be in the office until 7:30pm on my drop off date and when I called to confirm on that day he said I had to drop off the vehicle earlier which put me in a bind.

Arrived when the office was closed, but no signage advising one to park legally on the street. A sign in the door referenced a non-existent "lot", so I wasted time trying to find this before deciding to just park on the street like the many other trucks there. It would be easy and helpful to have drop-off instructions posted.

I would have liked a more visible representation of the gas level. Also I thought there would be a ramp, but there wasn't one. As far as I recall there was no communication about that.

The in-store help was fantastic - quick and accomodating. The mobile pick-up process was incredibly slow and laborious; I eventually had to request help from the people at the front desk to ensure we got our truck on time.

The address that I was scheduled to pick up my truck from was closed on Sunday. U-Haul should be aware of their store hours and prevent needlessly sending their customers to closed locations. While waiting on hold with customer service I was transferred five times to other employees and had to start all over again every time; I was never truly helped at all. I had to incur additional travel expense as well as fees for a delay with my movers. Awful service, I will never recommend to any of my personal or profession constituents.

csr said I didn’t need larger dolly thought requested one when I got to establishment. Said only for large things like fridges. I was move a two bed house and needed it for large things. Wasted 7& on a dolly a couldn’t use.

The location is ab auto body shop and this seems to be something they do on the side, so it's not an incredibly clean and focused location. I had reserved a small moving dolly, which was not available, so they provided me with an appliance dolly and did not charge me more, but this was a much bigger and heavier piece of equipment than what I needed.

Don’t rip your customers off. Online I purposely did not sign up for insurance then instore when checking out you deceiving had me sign an insurance form for an extra $14. Never explained what I was signing. Then you charged me extra for gas which was returned with the same half tank. Didn’t have picture evidence sonyou would not refund. Horrible scam of a uhaul service

Outside of the van was filthy. I had about a quarter tank of gas when I initially got in. I know there is an exorbitant fee for returning the van without filling it up, and I would disappointed to learn that this is not actually going toward gas for the next person. Not positive, but I think this particular van did not have hazard lights? That would be a nice feature for people who are moving and loading. Van was street-parked in a NO PARKING zone when I arrived. Luckily there was someone in the office when I returned, so I could put it back in the same place in the evening. Finding a place to leave the van after hours would have been very difficult.

Better customer service. The lady calls me and says my pick will need to be 30 minutes later than I scheduled. I informed her that this is an inconvenience as I have a short window to move into my building, funny how the other people paid for extra time but it doesn’t make my rental less and I don’t need the truck for more time. Then she calls me to say hey it’s available at my original time, I said great I’m on the way. I walk in and there are people in front of me complaining that the truck they reserved is to big. They asked if they could take the smaller van out front. The lady says “well a guy is coming to pick it up but I’ll just give it to you and tell him he’ll need to figure it out with a bigger truck” I’m standing right behind these people. I said “excuse me I’m the guy picking up that van and I do need it”. Rude isn’t even the word to describe this kind of customer service. Even though Budget has lower quality trucks I’ll definitely be using them next time. The best compound word to describe this Uhaul location (clusterfuck).

Again this location charged me for a late return and late arrival despite my OVER COMMUNICATION that I had in fact reserved it for two days. When I call customer service I was on hold for hours and then when I finally got through they dropped my call.

When I tried to return the van, I would get an error message when I hit "Start my return". I had to call the customer service line to get advice. Luckily, I wasn't charged a late turn-in fee because the representative put the error message in my notes. I love the idea of the 24/7 app, and once you work out the kinks, it'll be great!

They open at 9:00 a.m. It would be helpful to have a few staff there by 9:00 a.m. to accommodate the line that is waiting to rent a truck. If you've only got the truck for four hours, you do not want to wait in line to get the truck - just a suggestion.
