The windshield of the truck was blurry from being under el train. Other than that, it was in great shape and got the job done.

I don't normally submit reviews but I had to for this one. Some events I was not pleased with: 1. When I walk in, lady is on the phone. She looks at me, says nothing. I wait. After about 5 seconds of staring I ask if she can help me. She then turns and looks away and starts talking in the phone. Not very welcoming. 2. I have rented uhauls quiet a few times and I've never had to purchase insurance. It was suggested and recommended, but never mandated. This place would not rent be the vehicle unless I ordered insurance. 3. I was told I could return my vehicle at the same place when I was done. I told the lady the time I would bring it back and she said it's no problem. As I return the vehicle, I notice they place is closed. There is no return vehicle parking. The only parking available is city paid street parking. Sign at the uhaul door says that driver is responsible for paid parking and for any tickets incurred. Why was I not told about this? Shouldn't I know that I'd have to pay for parking until the uhaul place opens again? Why is there no specified drop off parking like every other uhaul place? I want happy with this. I didn't pay parking and luckily they didn't ticket the car. 4. Maybe not as crucial but as I was returning the contact I noticed under the comments section that there was an issue with the vehicle (I forget the exact issue) and that driver assumes any responsibility that results from that issue. I think this should have been communicated to me verbally like most things in the contact. I hope this feedback is taken constructively. I enjoy the uhaul rates and I've always been satisfied with the service, until this trip. Call me if the text needs further clarification.

Owner was very nice and easy to work with. Van was in good shape (minus a smell of cigarette smoke but who knows where that came from). Overall very positive experience and I will rent from them again if needed

I forgot to fill up the gas tank and when I told them they said it was alright and would only be a few extra dollars. It was $60. If reminded of that, I would have just took it to refill myself as it would have taken only a few more minutes.

I was charged two separate times. One was for $2 and the other the $47 for the actual truck. Is there any way to fix this? Other then that my experience was fantastic. I love the Pick up Truck through my phone.

The owner of SSS auto repair was SO great. The woman who rented my truck before me returned it 2.5 hours after my appt time and the owner did everything in his power to rectify the situation. His customer service was incredible. The situation was stressful for both of us (he missed his anniversary dinner to deal with everything!), but he was so diligent the entire time that it really made the situation better for me. I really appreciate all his hard work!

I rented this truck after hours, for some reason the app would not validate me to rent a truck and advised me to come back another time. I then sat on hold for AN HOUR trying to get someone on the line to help me. SSS Auto repair was kind but there was no direction throughout the whole experience.

I only spent a few minutes at this location to drop off the vehicle. The service personnel was friendly and professional. However, this location is curious, to say the least, being a space that runs under a railway track.

Took me 2 minutes to get the U-Haul and about 15 seconds for the drop-off process. Best U-Haul experience I've ever had. Highly recommend.

The instructions were not given properly. I was asked to return the vehicle with full gas. I used the U-haul for 5 miles and when I was refuelling, my gas bill came out to be $15 (5 gallons). When I told them that I wasn't given the vehicle with a full tank, they told that you were supposed to refuel as much as it was at the time of pick-up. I think he should have done a better job explaining this when giving the vehicle. I guess Home Depot service is better and I would rather recommend that. Thanks.

When I had called, the man (owner?) was great and very helpful. The woman who works there does not have the best customer service skills. She also doesn't know state abbreviations (we were moving out of state), which made things super confusing for the return location.

First, I ordered 2 furniture dollys and there was only one in store so I only got one. Second, I chose no insurance and got charged $14.00 for insurance which was probably added after the computer broke at the store and the employee said he would process my order later while I was gone. Third, I was given no instructions on returning the truck and when I called to ask a question no one answered or called me back. There was only street parking at this location so I ended up having to pay a parking meter to keep the truck parked until the store opened to avoid getting a ticket. The workers were very unhelpful and I would never return to this location again.

Made reservation for utility and furniture dolly well in advance and completed express check in but was told they had ran out of dollys. If I make a reservation with plenty of notice I expect my requests to be fulfilled.
