The pickup experience was horrible. I would never choose self pick up again and specially not at this location. Everything on the app was working correctly until it came time to look for the correct truck. The vehicle that was assigned to me was not on site and then the app no longer worked once I clicked I do not have the keys. I called the number posted at the location and I was directed to call customer service number for Uhaul. It took me over 30minutes to get through to a representative. The Uhaul customer service representative was great and came up with solutions but ultimately we were told to check every key locker in order to find a key so that she can assign us a truck that was available. We ended up having to take a 20 foot truck and had no dolly. Our original booking was for a 10ft truck and dolly for 4hrs. We did not get into our truck until 4:52pm and even called at drop off at 9:00pm to record that we had to keep the truck until that time which completed our 4hours. This morning I had to call because we were charged incorrectly, we were charged for the dolly we never received as well our drop off was recorded as we kept the truck overnight. I took too many calls and inconveniences with this rental. The representative that I talked to this morning June 2nd to square away everything was amazing but I shouldn't have gone through so much trouble on top of my stressful move.

The manager was very nice and a great help.
Conner KI reserved 2 days in advance and 15 min before my reservation they called me and asked when the latest I could pick up was and if I could return it 2.5 hours earlier than I’d planned. I said no. He called me back a few minutes later and said ok head over we have the truck, call when you’re here. I called when I got there and he told me he had a truck that was a third smaller but not the size I ordered and that someone would be delivering it soon. An hour later someone showed up with it. Moving days are already hard and this company made it harder, then he guy kept telling me to smile and make it a good day!!! They also did not include the Dolly I requested. He had to re do the reservation since the start time & truck size were different and he put in that I was bringing it back at the time he asked me if I could and I said no and he also signed my name on something! This was a completely terrible experience, I will only rent from actual u haul locations in the future which is what I thought I was doing in the first place. I had to make more trips across town because the truck was smaller and I had less time because they didn’t even have that ready, plus I had to carry more because they didn’t give me a dolly. Total fail. Only saving grace was that the truck itself was nice, clean, and easy to drive.
MARA WAt 2:30 pm the doors were locked and no one was around. The parking lot was full of broken down junk vehicles. I parked the truck in the street, not sure if it would be safe or not. I finally located the drop box. I called the 800 number and the lady said to drop the keys. After I did so, I realized by another transmission that I should have done a "self check in" in the app! Too late. Having spoken to a representative by phone that morning, I was lead to believe there would be people to receive the truck. No so. Bad experience..
JANE AThe doors were locked, so we had to ask a random person outside what to do with the truck. Finding street parking for a 15’ truck was unpleasant, but leaving the key in the drop box was easy enough. In the future, it would be nice if the location had a person available to confirm that what you’re doing is correct / safe. In the very least, they could have a sign that says it’s okay to park the truck anywhere in the area and hope they find it.
