Worst U-Haul on earth, blamed me for not returning the truck and proved them wrong, lost my contract, ask for a manager and was completely ignored and no call returned, also said I didn't fill the tank when I did I just had to drive it back to its location. They gave me a hell of problems and would never ever come back here, reported them to customer service and filed a report, do not recommend at all!!!

It took an hour to get my trailer when I had already set it up online. No one in the store for 15 when I arrived and was a very slow process. Again when I dropped the trailer off no one in the store and it took 25 min in total to simply drop a trailer off. I have used U-haul several times and this was my worst experience.

We are very upset that we booked a 26 ft truck for our move over a week in advance and the day we were scheduled to pick up the truck, it was changed to a 15 ft by Uhaul. When poeple book a certain size, there is a reason for that. We were moving a family of 5 and the smaller size truck was a huge inconvenience. When we complained at the store they stated that was because we reserved online. Well maybe you should consider not doing online booking if that is the case. It makes no sense at all why you would give people the option of doing that if you can't fulfill the commitment. I am furious over this and would NEVER recommend Uhaul to anyone and I will never use your services again- poor customer service for such a serious thing as moving??? It's disgusting!!!

No improvements really needed. I found the after hours check in and the e-mail delivery of the receipt very efficient. I do think that you should go to the old way of handling gasoline. Pick it up full, return it full.

I drove 13 miles and when I filled the gas tank, it took almost 3 gallons of fuel. My suspicion is the tank was not full when I picked it up. When I mentioned this to the attendant upon returning, he gave no explanation and no remuneration. Less than acceptable. Also, three hours after I returned the truck (and attendant told me I was free to go), I got a phone call that the truck had not been returned. Apparently, the truck had not been checked in properly.

We made the reservation for the rental on 4/04/16 for pick up at the Hadley tire location to avoid any potential issues. The equipment was not available at this location, despite how early we ordered it, so we had to drive to the Chicopee location on Memorial Drive to retrieve the vehicle. General Manager, Kyle Rogers, at Chicopee was extremely rude, dismissive, unhelpful, and unprofessional. He was friendly with other frequent customers and treated me callously and with disrespect. He refused to compensate us for any mileage, though we had to drive 30+ miles out of the way to get the truck in Chicopee, instead telling us that we'll just have to be happy with $50 reservation guarantee (which I still have not received at this point), and that we should be happy because we didn't have to go out of our way, when in fact, we did, citing anecdotes of other customer's stories, which did not strengthen his case, but instead highlighted the unprofessional and low-quality customer service of U-Haul as an entity. My boyfriend drove the truck, and I followed in my car. He got there with the truck first, the GM took the keys, and told him that he could leave. He did not give him an invoice or any indication that we would receive the $50 reimbursement. When I arrived in my own car, I went in to speak with him, so that I could obtain an invoice. He acted as though I was inconveniencing him and told me that I had to wait while he checked the truck in, which had been dropped off about 10 minutes prior. There were no other customers at the time of drop off, but two walked in right behind me, and we all waited while he checked my truck in. Upon re-entering the store, he proceeded to help the customers that arrived after me. We returned our rental with a full tank of gas, and the GM proceeded to harass me about the fuel level of the truck when finishing with the other customers. He demanded rudely, "Want to explain why it's down a quarter of a tank?" I explained that we had only used a quarter tank and put $13 of gas into the vehicle to fill it. He proceeded to verify the number of miles vs the amount of fuel we replenished, which confirmed that we did, in fact, fill the tank. The needle on the fuel gauge for the truck was just shy of full, which I explained could be because the truck was parked on a slight incline. He then proceeded to say that he would "cut us a deal" and only charge us for half the cost of the "missing" fuel. Our truck rental wound up being over $300, when it should have been under $250. He cheated me out of money and openly disrespected me in front of other customers. I found his behavior to be extremely unprofessional, and I will never use U-Haul again, regardless of location.

We needed a 5x9' trailer for about 90 minutes. We own and drive a Ford Explorer with a V8 engine. We were forced to rent a truck with it and told that we could not use our own vehicle to haul this flatbed trailer! So, now we were not only paying the trailer rental, but the truck rental. We now had to figure in fuel for the truck and mileage for both rentals. We had to spend a whopping $110 on a 22 mile rental that we used for less than 90 minutes! Upon return we double checked to see if there was any fine print regarding HAVING to also rent a truck with a trailer. Nowhere in any of the advertising does it say that both are required for rental. We will NEVER use Uhaul again and will let others know of our negative experience.

The AC on my U-Haul truck was not working on the hottest day of the year. I've sent several emails to the U-Haul corporate office regarding this matter to no avail. What can U-Haul do to improve their service for the next customer? First, they should ensure their trucks are functioning properly - especially the AC in the Summer. Secondly, U-Haul should answer their customer's emails and not continue to send their meaningless robo messages. This is not the type of customer service I expect from this company.

The sun visor on the driver side was broken and kept sliding down slightly onto the windshield. Other than that the service people at the desk were very polite and helpful, a trait that is sometimes hard to find thdse days. The truck ran well, was comfortable and served its purpose without any surprises. I would most definitely recomend this location to family and friends.

Was charged twice for the rental fee. Rented a truck for 19.99 and my final bill was 110! I get the mileage but being charged almost 4 timed the rental fee is ridiculous. And no one has returned my call. Not happy with U-Haul and will never rent from them again.

My order was cancelled without notice for no reason. This meant that my truck was not on location and I had to use a smaller truck and was unable to transport all my items. This was a major inconvenience and ruined our moving dates and experience. Highly disappointed.
