The place was closed so I did the return process on line. That was fine. I received a phone call this morning stating that I was going to be charged a cleaning fee and that the furniture pads(which I left half in the plastic and the other half folded up in the back after we used them) needed to be folded again. I took pictures with the return process as uhaul asked me too. I left the truck in the same condition it was given to me and only had it for 3 hours.

There was no one to give me keys at the first location I was supposed to pick up the rental from. This was already changed from the location I had originally scheduled. Driving to the new location did cause us to lose time in the day of moving. The customer service reps were very helpful and I know none of the issues that happened were within their control but they worked to provide solutions.

Paid to have uhaul from 9am-1pm, the lady checking us in was very nice but a little to chatty when your on a time crunch. I'm sorry, but on a day where Im suppose to have 4 hours to move I don't really have time to talk about her night out. Got there at 9am but it took almost 40 minutes to actually get the uhaul. The uhaul was swept and any garbage was removed from van before returning it, yet I was still charged a $25 fee for "cleaning". I would love to know what needed to be done that was worth $25. I called Mack Storage and was transfered to uhaul customer service who told me I needed to contact Mack Storage about the issues.

This pick up location was great however this was the third one I was given.. The first did not have the equipment, which was not an issue. I received email about the second, with request to confirm, I was unable to confirm equipment due to telephone problems so I traveled to the location to find the gate chained and locked.. That is why I requested another location. This was terrible coordination of locations and a waste of my time to confirm equipment. There needs to be large improvement of location to location communication.

Your customer service is horrible ! And you have employees that lie and tell you , you can't use your own insurance when you can . I was charged an extra ten dollars when o have my own insurance . I WILL NEVER USE YOUR STUPID COMPANY AGAIN!

Picked up the truck and it was in great condition. But this location did not have a dolly, which I had specifically requested online. So I had to go to a second location, Jen's Furniture, to get the dolly, which made dropping off the equipment to two different locations very difficult.

In general my experience was excellent; although I was surprised that the milage read was not correct when I got the invoice (had to communicate twice to get it fixed). Plus, luckily I took a photo (odometer) when I returned the car ... otherwise I had to pay $30 in addition. Very inconvenient.
