U-Haul Contract 27298841 I just wanted to say, hands down this was the worst experience with uhual I have ever had. Our family has used uhual my entire life and so have I. When I called to make my reservation the girl on the phone gave me prices for a 15-17 foot truck and a 20 ft truck. This girl worked at the clarksville location that re returned the uhual to. I told her I would like the 15-17 foot truck which every one she would have available for me to pick up since my reservation was the following day. We did the express check in and it was only supposed to take 30 minutes too to check in and our uhual was supposed to be available at 8:30. It took over a hour and a half to check in and get our uhual. We did not get the 15 or 17 foot truck we were promised. We were given a 10 foot truck and still charged the same price. The man who helped us was nothing but rude to us as well. Due to us driving from fort campbell Kentucky to Alabama to get our belongings in Alabama to bring back up here and only being allotted 241 miles we had to find someone in Alabama with a truck to help us move the rest of our items because they had to be moved that day. We ended up having to pay another $250 to have someone help us move by using their truck all due to uhual being unable to provide us with the truck we requested. Not only due to the truck not being available and us having to pay someone we were only able to use the truck less than 24 hours. The truck was returned to the lot in clarksville after hours the same day it was rented. I am so upset by the negative experience I have had. We are military, I'm nine months pregnant and the stress your company has put on m family while my husband is deployed is beyond ridiculous. Uhual used to have such a amazing name and company and people working for you. I can not believe how you treat your customers now a days. Signed a very upset faithful long term used to be customer.

I got kind of confused by pulling into the first building I saw, which was for sales of RVs or something - clearer signage would be helpful. Once I found the place though, the man who helped us was thorough, friendly, and efficient.

My appointment was scheduled for pickup truck and I had to pick up my vehicle from another location, because my vehicle was not available at the location for pickup truck, A vehicle was available at another location, but my tow dollie for car tow, and tow dollie had to be picked up from original location. On my part I picked the wrong dolly for moving and the dolly was at no use for me. But my move was done anyway, but the truck I received was not big enough for my move, so I had to take what I could, but overall we did our best with what we had, and my move was successful, I learned a lot from this experience, and I was pleased with what I was able to accomplish, and will use this service again in the future if I need too. Learning experience, thank you Uhaul.

The woman there has a serious attitude problem, I know good and well the SAME route I took before was NOT over 100 miles round trip, I had to call out for work simply because I picked up the truck 28 minutes early and was not able to return the nexr day at 11 as planned AND because when my rental office opens at 9am I was not able to get the keys early without paying for an extra day with them that I did not want to do! I will NEVER use Uhaul again affer this bs and I will ve contacting your corporate office as well.

Truck was clean but the ignition switch was going bad on truck. One of the employees said that was a common problem on the vehicle size we used. his location did not screw us but be careful another local dealer did, told us they would be open for us to pick up a truck and they were not. Thankfully this location had a truck available.

When a piece of equipment is making a strange sound, take the time to find out why. I would rather have waited 2 hours or so for the problem to be fixed than to take 6 hours one day and 2 hours the next to change trailers because the first was not maintained and checked as it should have been in the first place. The general manager and morning staff were very helpful. The evening staff was not at all helpful or understanding.

Actually go over the contract with customer and provide equipment that is not ready to be sent to the scrap yard. The first dolly I received did not even have safety chains.

Per the agreement, the amount of gas left in the vehicle should be the same for everyone. I shouldn't have to pay extra for the previous drivers ignorance. The only response, I received was "I'm sorry for the inconvenience ". I paid $59 for a $19 rental for 2 hours.
