The approval process of having to have contacts contacted is lengthy and wasted an hour of my time.
Heather CWhen asked to estimate your mileage...estimate low because we were about 5 miles lower than what we estimated but was still charged for the amount we estimated. Asked manager to make sure we would be only charged for the miles we had drove and he said that UHAUL would calculate and only charge us for the mileage we drove...WE were still charged for what we estimated even after I notified UHAUL by email to let them know this. I bet if we were 5 miles over we would have been charged right away for those extra miles!!
Paul BWhen the vehicle was picked up, there was a message on the dash that the stability control needed service, and the dash warning light was on. Also the driver's side window would not fully roll up/seal, and the side mirrors could not be adjusted. Mileage charges were also excessive = my $19.99 a day rental cost me $235!
ROGER DBe clear about drop off locations and be upfront about hidden charges that are applied after the initial rental fee is paid.
