When I reserved the truck, I was told the location was not open on Sundays and that I would have to do everything online. Which I thought was fine until we got there the day of and the website wasn’t working- it kept saying I was “awaiting approval”. I even tried to call the help line but after being on hold 10 minutes I hung up. Thankfully there actually was someone working at the location that gave us the key to the truck. Not sure how long it would have taken if she wasn’t there? And also why did they say the location wasn’t open if there was someone working? Overall worked out okay but seemed disorganized and I wouldn’t recommend the online check in process.

Although the quick claim settlement X markers are useful, the truck I rented was filled with them and it made me uneasy to drive it. For example the driver side side mirror was shattered in half, and it wasn't safe for driving long distances.

I have no problem with this location. However, the Android app is nearly useless. I give the app experience a 2/5 because of the issues I experienced. First off, the button on the screen after I got the keys wouldn't work, so I closed and reopened the app and then wasn't able to enter the odometer information. Not wanting to be charged extra, I waited on hold for a customer service agent for 20 minutes for them to tell me I didn't need to enter that info at all, even though the app said I did. The checkout process that was supposed to take 10 minutes quickly turned into a 45 minute process between that issue and the approval time. Then, when I went to return the truck, I couldn't use the app to go through the return process. I had to use the website on my phone instead. I would absolutely not recommend using the app to anyone at all.

Seemed nice and clean but the internet went out at this location so picking up the truck took longer. Staff was helpful and apologetic so not their fault. Plenty of parking.

I'm not sure that it was the location or the attendant's fault - but bad online service, never made aware of the cost for insurance. Either online or onsite they AUTOselected the Safemove plus for over $100 - i was happy with the standard safemove. Then when i wanted to change it - it took over 30 min of the attendent being on hold with a manager only to have to re-book the entire thing in a different truck putting 2 holds on my credit card. The new booking then had the wrong address which made the price about the same as it was before with the wrong insurance. The manager on phone told attendent to call ANOTHER manager who didn't answer and basically i blew an hour - over paid by $50 and was pretty disappointed in the way it was handled by U-Haul. The local attendant should have more authority or better access to someone who does - and you shouldn't try and sneak in the most expensive insurance without making that crystal clear up front.

To improve: Make sure that U-haul online agents are accurately informed /provide accurate information. What they provide can and likely will have an impact - positive or negative - on the renters. Context: When I rented the truck I was only able to secure 24 hours online. I needed it for 48 hours. I used the online chat to see what I could do. I was informed that I could request a other 24hr rental at pickup and it'd be no problem. That was not the case. I was only able to secure the truck for 24 hours. No other trucks were available on such short notice, not even with competitors. Impact: I'd rented the truck on a Friday. I'd had a full crew of people lined up to help us move on Saturday. My wife and I were going to pack, load, and move some small stuff on Friday, and then make thd necessary trips to move the big stuff with the crew on Saturday. Because of the misinformation we'd received, instead of having 2 days and several people to help, we had 1 day and no help. There are several strategic and financial implications to this. We're displeased, to say the least. The rental agent on location, however was fantastic. He was very friendly and jovial. While he was not in a position to help our predicament, he was very kind, understanding, and sympathetic. That goes a long way.

After a long wait while some other customer for an affiliate business, I was finally taken care of. When I called to reserve I said what I was looking for and the primary need was to move appliances. The truck I reserved should have had tall ceilings and a ramp to accommodate loading. The vehicle I got, did not have a ramp, and ceilings were so short a refrigerator could not stand up inside. Trying to make my move easier I desired to rent the uhaul, instead it was a waste of time and money. When I called to complain that I had been rented a vehicle that’s wasn’t what suited my needs, I was told to call the 1 800 number. More time to waste. Not impressed at all with the experience or the customer service.

Truck was very Smokey but the representative was very good, thorough in explaining things, and overall very good. Uhaul trucks in general are shabby but that isn't his fault.
