Fill the trucks up with gas mine was at 1/4 tank asked if they could fill it up she referred me to the gas station down the street rude customer service upon returning the truck the guy was rude and more focused on his conversation with a coworker and his only comments were just fold the blankets

Shayleen Prasad offered the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She should NOT be in a customer-facing role. She was rude, unprofessional and unpleasant in the extreme. If she worked for me, I would have fired her on the spot.

After the nightmare I had picking up the truck I arrived at Concord hoping to wipe my hands with U-Haul, but was told that the Berkeley U-Haul had given me the wrong truck and hey couldn't accept the return in Concord. By this point I felt defeated. I argued with them that it's not my problem if I was given the wrong truck and I wasn't going to drive it to Berkeley for them, and they accepted the return, charging me $1.74 for gas. I will not recommmend U-Haul to anyone I know after the horrible performance during pick up, and drop off.



Rented a trailer to tow a car. I went and spoke with Marissa who informed me my car needed a tow hitch. I told her several times that I was towing the car, not using it to tow something. She still insisted I needed a tow hitch that would cost hundreds of dollars. I cancelled the reservation, I was so frustrated and didn't know what to do. I called uhaul when I arrived home and two separate people were very helpful on the phone and told me that yes, indeed I could tow my car on the dolly. So, I had to make a new reservation with them, all because of Marissa's mistake. Very upsetting to deal with this during an already stressful time.

I had made an online reservation for a van and I had to wait an hour in line to pick it up this a.m....staff were slow, lost keys, did not seem to care about the 30 plus people waiting in line. When I returned the van later today I was told there was no way to return unused boxes because registers were closed. I asked to contact someone tomorrow and they said "nope,". There was a serious lack of leadership, caring and competence at the Concord store that was not expected based on the reputation of your brand.

There was an employee named marissa who messed up On multiple parts of our reservation and added so much unwanted stress and took our time away from us while trying to deal with moving. Very very frustrating and left me not wanting to use uhaul ever again.

This location has several workers but only a couple were assisting customers and there was a line out the door. When I finally got to the counter the woman helping me told me that they did not have any vehicle dollies which is what I was there to get and that I would need to call the 800-number to find a location where I could rent one. When I called the number they advised me there were several at the location I was just at. I reserved one and I had to go back. We spoke to the gentleman in front of us who had experience the same issue. It took us an hour and a half from the time we first went until we got the vehicle dolly which is not acceptable. For the most part the worker that this U-Haul are lazy and unorganized!

The Walnut Creek drop off location had a sign on the door that customers could not drop off trucks after hours and we had to drive to an entirely different location which was very inconvenient
