I came in the morning about 9:00 to pick up a trailer. One customer service person was taking forever to get a next day pickup detailed with a young man of little experience. I had done all the work online, so a bit frustrating to stand in a slow line. A couple more cst. service guys, things moved fast, and I got great service from my guy. Good on return also--friendly, helpful. Maybe when you do everything online you can print an "express lane pass" to actually make that extra effort pay off.

Make the “based on availablility” clause more noticeable !!! I reserved my trailer over 3 weeks in advance and was told it would not be an issue with that much advance notice. At the last minute they tried to make me drive a 2 hour drive in rush hour to pick the darn thing up!!! As I was on a very tight time schedule, that wasn’t acceptable. They did however, offer me a slightly larger trailer at the same price which worked out ok. People at the Concord Uhaul location were great and had paperwork done quickly got me hooked up and out the door in about 40 minutes. Job well done!

The establishment was very busy, but even so we were taken care of in a short amount of time. Our transaction went like clockwork. It was the same on our check in when we returned the van. Had to wait in line for about 35-40 min to get checked in. So even using the quick check in would not have helped. Parking lot has very limited parking to park and pick up ur vehicle. Only thing nice about it is it is close to our home. Location needs to be bigger.

Went picking up the truck in the morning, staff was great, friendly and accommodating. When dropping the truck off, there was a line out the door, people were agitated because the had been waiting so long. One senior man was standing there for almost 35 min just to buy one, single, cardboard box. Every single staff member looked angry or flustered. Then i before i left, i used the restroom. I literally was disgusted, there was toilet paper and paper towels ALL OVER the floor, some just laid over the spilled soap by the dirty sink. There was no toilet paper or seat covers. I normally would complain about stuff like this but it was far beyond unacceptable.

It took forever. The waiting line moves so slowly, after signing all the papers in getting in the van only to find the van was on empty but that’s not what the paperwork showed. So they made me go get back in line and wait another half hour to get the paperwork straight. To put it kindly it was a shit show.

The windshield of the vehicle was dirty. We cleaned it and I think it might be a good suggestion to do this on vehicles before renting for safety and perception reasons. Just makes the vehicle seem cleaner.

I just wanted to say, that Steven Olsen is a wonderful human being and stellar employee. I’m going through a brutal divorce from my lying cheating husband and he was a breath of fresh air during my rental and return. I’ve been so stressed and he was patient and helped me pick out a truck, boxes, figure or what I would need, was patient with me even though I came in right before closing, and just showed me kindness and great service with a smile and sense of humor, that made my very difficult day a little bit better. It’s the little things that make the world a better place. Grateful I had Steve helping me! God bless!!

Please check to be sure all parts of truck are functionally working - the driver side mirror was so loose I had to hold with one hand. 2nd issue- I rented a 26 ft truck and drive it 44 miles. The truck was provided to me with a quarter tank of gas. I put in 11 gallons and the gas gauge never moved off the empty line. The rep had no explanation as to why. And the line to pick up rental was long and slow with one person working the counter

I was very upset by the UHaul equipment guaranty. The equipment I had a confirmed reservation for was not available due to someone else not returning it despite all indications on the reservation being ready an hour ahead of time the return was only scheduled for a half hour before and did not happen. I was forced to either wait when I had a tight schedule to keep, or accept a smaller truck with no compensation despite the implication the equipment guaranty. The UHaul representative explained this as you only are guaranteed a vehicle, not the vehicle you requested, which is not obvious from the website at all. If there hadn't happened to be a slightly smaller truck available I would have had to take a pickup truck, which would have ruined my move. As a result I was also unable to return the truck via mobile so I had to return the next day to return it during business hours. With the mobile experience of check in I did a ton of steps and photos and confirmations before being told my equipment did not exist so I had to go into the office anyway. This wasted my time when I was under a tight time constraint for my move because the bay bridge was going to be partially shut down. Additionally, I had persistent difficulties getting my account set up with Uhaul's website and mobile. Support was unable to do anything about it other than refer me to a "regional transit center" which seems like a weird place for an IT problem. I was only able to fix this issue by trying with a totally different email address the next day.

Have employee that lissen so when some one sead they need a trailer for two days it mean to days and if u call a customer u should never be Road it was rilly sad that employee can treat ur customer the way they do
