Location was so crowded that returns could not get into the lot.

I changed from trailer to trim UK. Spent an hour using it cost $45 and they asked me to fuel up which I did. Absolutely ridiculous in terms of cost particularly compared to trailer. Slow service. Just a crappy all round experience

I waited in line to rent a trailer for over 30 min There was only 1 person available to help everyone in line A lady finally started helping and I said I’d like to rent any size trailer. The longer the better since it would be fewer trips for me. She looked on her computer and said there was nothing available. I mentioned that I saw 6-10 out back and she shot back they were taken and just because I see them does mean I can have one. I left and called the 800 Uhaul and within a few min they said I can pick up a trailer at the same location I was at The only saving grace to this whole situation was the owner was really trying hard to do everything for all his employees

We reserved a 26’ truck three weeks in advance and confirmed three days prior as requested. Before leaving home to pick up truck we confirmed yet again. When we showed up 20 minutes later we were told there was no 26’ truck available at the location or anywhere nearby. We had to take a 20’ truck which did not meet our needs. We had to borrow a friends truck to get additional items to San Diego. We had to leave May items behind. The tank was only half full. We returned the truck with a full tank and requested a partial credit, considering that we had not even been given the requested truck. Request was flatly denied and in a rude fashion. This is the worse service We have ever encountered. We can’t imagine using or recommending u-haul ever again. Incredibly disappointing.

Your online reservation system is broke. It allowed me to edit the pick up location to postal annex at Walnut Creek but when I arrived at that location, I was told that I need to go to monument blvd location in concord. Please disable online booking option as it is misleading. I also came to know from the associate at monument that availability is not guaranteed through online booking. In this age of online world, this is disappointing.

The facility needs a much larger yard. The employees often are often stressed due to inadequate storage space and probably because the same gate is used for entry and exit. Some voice their dislike working for Uhaul.

Truck size/reservation not guaranteed per your website; $50 credit was not offered because employee said it wasn’t applicable. Instead he offered a $55 gas credit, marked the vehicle out as empty,(even though there was a quarter tank), and upon after hours return, proceeded to change credit to $22 and increased our final charge. Tried to call directly (direct number for office) and was picked by your hotline operators, who could not do anything for us and advised we contact location directly. Operator mentioned that they would message office to call us. That was yesterday 6/9/19. I am disabled in a wheelchair so traveling back and forth to your location office is not easy for me. Your website guarantees a size truck for us and didn’t meet it. Your site also says that $50 would be paid to us if not notified the day before. We were told at the desk the day of the truck wasn’t available and given a smaller truck which made our move even more difficult. Not recommending this office location to anyone I know

Stephen was very friendly and quick, guy has a great personality. I must say that the location in completely understaffed. U-Haul needs to hire 4 additional porters to increase efficiency. I've rented from this location multiple times and it seems as if the owner or U-Haul does not really care about there employees. Today it was 96 degrees and they were hustling. Maybe when someone has a heat stoke they will pay attention to comments like this one.

I was racially profiled at the Concord CA branch on monumentt Blvd. I have not gone to another location so I can't say it's in all uhaul locations. But it is the second time it happens in this location. I had a reservation and they kept telling me I was on a waiting list when other customers kept coming in an leaving with a truck. When I spoke with customer service they said they did have trucks and until customer service spoke with person at location I got a truck.bad customer service at location towards me but very good towards other customers that came in. Had me waiting for one hour til I finally got a truck.

it ran well, no issues with the performance, just not as clean as usual....plus there were Uhaul moving pads in the van. (I guess that is a plus) but I didn't need them)

I was shocked at the cost of gasoline ($11.00) for such a small driving distance (11.0 miles). Had I known it would be this much, I would have purchased half a gallon to (more than) cover it.

wow, it was really good already... to make better... maybe have a coffee available for customers waiting in line... kinda like how Trader Joes does it. The people were great and very professional... and friendly Thank you for doing such a great job, great customer service is seldom seen these days

My comments are not directed to U Haul of Concord, their service was fine. . I am very disappointed with UHaul.com and U Hauls' scheduling system. The trailer I reserved 10 DAYS IN ADVANCE was not at the location I was directed to originally. Had to call and was put on hold for several minutes before talking to someone. They could not find a trailer within 40 miles of my location. I was eventually directed to U Haul of Concord and settle on a smaller trailer which did not fit my needs. Why have and use an online scheduling system if when the customer gets to the location and the trailer is not there? I had such difficult time, spending several hours trying to locate a trailer and being put on hold. I will not depend on U Haul for my future trailer and rental needs.

This is a really busy location. They need a larger space. It’s bunched up on a narrow lot and customers struggle to park. The vans and trailers don’t have much room to turn around. Find these good employees in Concord a bigger location!
