Bad experience: 5x8 closed trailer came off the car because receiver pin was not fasted correctly by U-Haul staff. This occurred after leaving the Conroe location following hookup 1/4 mile North on I-45. Damaged my receiver and cost lost appointments due to need to contact Roadside assistance and get new receiver.

I used the web site to check-in in advance; however, the site did not retain my personal information such as name, address, tow vehicles, destination. The staff member said that was typical. What is the point of using your website to check-in?

Every time I go into U Hall the people who work there are very rude. They hardly ever greet the customers. I don't like going in the store because it's all ways the same. Dealing with the rudeness is disappointing.

The lights on 3 motorcycle trailers were all defective. I rented one and 2 miles down the road lights went out. Although this was an issue they made adjustments for the defect on my charges.

The U-Haul reservation system stinks! I made a reservation at another location, but never received notification that I could not rent at that location, so when I showed up, I called the 800 number where I found a service rep who was not friendly, told me repeatedly that i "don't live in her service area" and she would try to help. She said if she forwarded my reservation to the right person, it would take "15 handoffs ) - that is a direct quote. I'm not sure I will rent from U-Haul in the future only because your reservation system is so bad. Truthfully. And I'm serious. The equipment and the folks at the Conroe store are great however.

CONTRACT 25900461 PICK UP LOCATION 1305 I-45 CONROE TX. DROP OFF LOCATION CT. LAREDO TX. 78045 I recently rented a unit from you to be delivered at a different location when I got it was full of blankets and dirty I drove it to where I was supposed to leave the truck unfortunately I could not finish my business and I had to use the unit for one day more. When I went to park the car at the location closer to where I was I had a driver with me to drive the truck since I could not. I call to report I could not finish my check out at the time. Next day I went just to make sure you did not charge more than what I had to pay. The sales lady took the reading and came back to me stating without proof that I have used the unit for 20,000 miles extra. Of course I assumed she was going to be reasonable since it was the equivalent to travel 6 times to LA from Houston in a 3 day period. Any reasonable person would not even consider this as a possible fact. She contacted Uhaul and obviously she was told just to charge for the normal use. After this I was ready to finish my payment when the manager came saying that whoever she talked to did not know how to handle this and they needed to contact their manager I was really surprised the way she was handling this incident since she did even check the GPS or requested additional information to back up her decision just to make sure what she was doing was the right thing. I waited for more than an hour luckily for me the Driver took pictures of the odometer that was in kilometers instead of miles. These pair of sales ladies never checked that and the manager never came. I was not in my residence I was renting a car for which I had to pay an extra day with an extra insurance day. I had no other apologize from Uhaul other than let me know my charges as you must imagine I was furious for the way I was treated my time was not important and me as a customer felt terribly insulted. It also caught my attention incidents like this can result as overcharge for customers 1 dollar for a mile will be 1.6 dollar per kilometer. In zones like in the border people may not be used to use miles but it will be the sole responsivity of people from UHAUL to make sure customers are charged legitime use of their units and treated with respect. I will send this story in your website and also sending to BBB so they are aware of this story. And I will find other alternatives in case I ever need to consider UHAUL. Never again. This was awful. Great customer service, clean rental. Only advice I will give to future customers is arrive early on your rental date and time. When I was onsite, it took about an hour because of 9 other people in front of me.

I got ripped off on this rental!!! This office on I45 in Conroe completely confirmed my reservation for a 6' X 12' enclosed trailer, and for the $$ for a local rental. The equipment was not there on Saturday morning and I got sent to the office at 6400 Eastex Fwy. Already delayed by 90 minutes in my moving day due to this error, I get to the Eastex rental location and I'm told I have to pay the 1-way rate of $92+ versus the $29.99!!!!! What's up with that!! I spoke to their Manager, but, to my dismay he couldn't do anything for me. I had to move that day, so I took the trailer. That Manager suggested I would get some type of a $50 refund from the office at 1305 I-45S. Some type of "Reservation Guarantee Refund"??? I haven't heard anything, why not??? This rental was a pain and in the end I had to pay extra against a reservation that was totally confirmed to be a local rental. I am very disappointed:(!!

The only thing I didn’t like is that I rented a trailer for my motorcycle, I used it for a couple of hours only and returned it the same day When I returned it a lady was there and helped me to park and disconnect the trailer, I asked her if I need to go inside the office and sign out for the trailer, she said no and that o was good to go, next day someone called me and ask if I still had the trailer with me, I said no and explained that I returned it the same day and that the lady said it was okay to go The person said no problem, but later I saw that they charged me for 2 days, I called costumer services and explained the whole situation , they say not to worry and that they would refund my money for the extra charge which they did, so if you rent a trailer make sure they check you out so this doesn’t happen to you , I’m sure they would've Check more if it was a truck, but that’s okay, I will go to this location again in the future

To begin with I had a ver y terrible experience, two time now renting with your company. Both times confusion and miscommunication was the key issue as well as location of equipment and rental locations I was inconvenienced both time and had to go way out of my way just to pick up a rental. Not only that but was even not so much as offered any kind of discount and your company claims to do. I only used your company this time out of desperation and would really rather not have used you. Next time I will plan better and go pick one up elsewhere or just purchase a vehicle to use.

The whole scheduling process is broken. Nothing went the way it was supposed to and in the end I felt like they were trying to take advantage of me. This location definitely needs to get their act together.
