The hitch failed damaging my vehicle and I'm being charged extra for it not staying on the ball to where I could haul it. Almost 400 for it to not work and damage my vehicle? I'm telling everyone that Uhaul is bad business!

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe truck had little fuel when I picked it up. It broke down, fully loaded, on my first trip with it in 100 degree weather. Uhaul dispatched a service person with an estimated arrival time of an hour from the time of my call. The back and forth with uhaul customer service took most of the day. The truck was found to have almost no oil or fluids in it and the transmission would need to be rebuilt. It should have never been rented to a customer. Honestly, there was so much more than that. The communication with uhaul was awful and the storage facility where I rented it was of little help, though they did bring another truck and leave it, making sure to point out that my insurance wouldn't transfer to the other truck. We had to load from one truck to the other in searing heat on our very first run. The serviceman who worked on the truck did communicate very well and agreed the truck should have never left the lot.
