I rented a cargo van from this location. They did not do a walk around prior to handing me the keys he handed me the keys and told me were to locate the van. Upon returning the van, the customer service clerk asked my son to stay inside while he checked the van. He accused us of breaking the bumper clip. He literally push the bumper down with his leg in order to show us the missing clip( we have pictures) The bumper looks intact. I walkthrough was not completed upon rental. How can you accuse us of damaging the bumper.

They tried to charge me an extra $150 for a dirt Mark that was on the van when I brought it back. It looked like a bug had flown into it and left the streak, so upon returning they didn’t even ask me first, they took it upon themselves to charge my credit card. Completely unacceptable I will not be returning to this location and they told me it’s gonna take five days for them to refund the money on my credit card that they shouldn’t of taken in the first place so now I have to keep an eye on my checking app to make sure that I get my money back otherwise I’m just going to be ripped off for a one day rental they had the nerve to charge me $269 granted I did do a little over 90 miles but still that’s on acceptable. Do not go to this location. The one saving grace I will say is the gentleman I believe his name Anthony who help me in the first place get the vehicle he was very nice he was very professional and he did his job it was just upon my return of the vehicle that I dealt with some other characters .



The staff were great. It was a pleasent experience. Definetly recommend to friends and family.

Mobile check in is HORRIFIC. Not only did it take half an hour, but after that long process, we had to wait on line anyway to get the key. Waste of my time. There was also no clear notification that I would be charged an exorbitant amount for the single gallon of gas I used on my short trip.

Charged for equipment that was not rented. Very difficult to get resolved because they would not answer phone. Once I could get someone on the phone and issue resolved they could not send me an updated final receipt. Don’t have final statement emailed. Stay at facility and have them prove all “extras” first!

To whom it may concern, I recently rented a vehicle 8/7/18 from the Coram U-haul location. I returned it on 8/9/18. From the moment I returned, the staff was very rude and unpleasant. They were in garage smoking when I pulled up and after waiting 5 minutes for them to finish, they took my contract and began to tell me that there was a small gray/black smudge on side of vehicle. Upon pick up they told me to go inspect only the exterior of vehicle by myself and let them know if there was any dents in vehicle. They never told me to look for small smudge on vehicle. I also took the $15 additional ins. waiver just in case of any real damage that might have incured. At no time during my rental period was there ANY damage done to vehicle. Usually when a vehicle is inspected upon pick up, a rental representative does the inspection with you!! Employee Eric Perez was unpleasant and rude from the moment I returned vehicle and General Manager Lauren Osteen wasn't any better. As my Wife waited in the car outside, they delayed me inside trying to call customer service which never picked up. They delayed my simple return for 30 minutes for a fictious smudge that they are now trying to charge me $132.44. I also tried to call customer service at home and waited for 35 minutes with no one ever picking up. My wife and I are extremely upset and disappointed in U haul as a company, and especially upset with the staff at the Coram location. We are disputing the claim and can't believe we have to now waste our time for nonsense and unpleasant staff!! We hope that you remove any unstantiated charges without us contacting our credit card company. Thanks for your cooperation,

I reserved a 10' box truck and was told to pick it up at 748 Montauk Highway in Bayport on 8/6/18 at 8:00 a.m. I waited there 25 minutes and no one arrived at the business location. When I contacted UHaul they told me I would need to go to the Cora, location. I was disappointed and angry with what happened at the Bayport location as I had an appointment and needed to be somewhere with the truck. Once I got to Coram the staff there were very polite and professional.



The mobile app did not work, was easier to use the people at the counter

I have had a very poor experience. First my paperwork showed 60 miles higher than the truck actually had in the odometer. Had I not noticed it right away it would have cost me an additional $120. That was my first call into the office. It was raining today and we discovered that the truck was leaking. One side of two mattresses and two box springs are still soaked hours later. Several boxes are soaked at the bottom and I don’t know what damage has been done to their contents. The boxes are now immovable as the bottoms are too soft and weak. I made 5 calls into the office and was told a manager would call me back immediately and I received zero calls back. When I returned the truck the woman who identified herself as the general manager gave me a claims phone number to call. I called that number and it was another dead end. I then called the general number again, waited on hold another 25 minutes and that rep gave me a totally different number to call but told me they weren’t open until Monday. I am very aggravated with the service I received from this company and the damage done to my belongings. I expect someone to contact me so this may be rectified.

There was a small scratch on right side door which already was covered in dirt. When I returned, your employee blamed me for the scratch. The van was never out of my sight nor did ANYONE come near the vehicle during my possession. This small scratch was clearly an oversight during my initial inspection. You can check my account history, I've rented from you several times with no issues with your employees till this time. This was clearly an oversight during the initial inspection. Not happy at all!

Sign said pull here and wait in your vehicle for an attendant to check u in. Waited and waited no one came. I went inside both people were on their phones. No one greeted me and the girl said he can help ya. Apparently she was to busy texting to help me

We were overcharged for mileage & gas upon rental return. We admit we should have taken a picture of the mileage & gas gauge in the beginning but we thought we were with a trustworthy company. When we returned the truck the guy said we put on 53 miles. We only used 12! We also paid $20 in gas for going 12 miles. At $1.89 per mile we would have paid almost an extra $80. The guy at the desk says the computer is always right but apparently it wasn’t this time. You must not have checked in the truck properly last time. Luckily a nice customer suggested to go on Google maps where it lists all the places we were for the day. Sure enough it showed 12 miles!! If we didn’t have that app we would have overpaid. I’m so disappointed & won’t be using your location again.
