I ordered a 10 foot truck. Went in day before to confirm truck would be ready. They told me they won’t have a truck for me as they are being returned after hours. The dispatch office moved me to Apppe Valley store which is way to far considering time and mileage charge. I called dispatch and asked if they can find 20 foot close to me. They sent me back to Acorn. As it turned out they had one and I rented at higher rate which I do not think is right. It cost me at least $20 more plus mileage difference in fuel consumption. I expect U-Haul to reimburse me for this.

Pickup was excellent! It was the inability to reach anyone by phone! I drove there a week before because I called 12 times in 2 days and would only get an immediate busy signal. It's a storage business that rents Uhaul and the older man told me they had nothing to do with Uhaul!
Lynne ZThe person checking me out was friendly and informative. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and easy to load and drive. My only small quibble is that when the truck got to a certain speed (over 45 mph), there was a high pitched whine that could be heard in the cab. We couldn't tell what it was coming from and it didn't appear to be problematic with driving, but it was annoying.
Melonie AYour questions miss the point. The truck and dolly were old and beat up but they got the job done. Remote check in took longer than expected but also worked. Let renters know if it can be done ahead of time. TY!
