Third time's a charm! I was delighted to land at this Haul shop after being "stood up" at the first one: 405 E Route 66, Glendora; the second shop didn't like that I questioned the "reference" request (which I actually complied with even though I asked and complained about it - HINT: please instruct UHaul facilities to EXPLAIN why they request the information). So, arriving very upset at this third location in dire need of a cargo van - the two young men at the counter explained to me why it is requested - did their jobs and I had a van in less than 15 minutes. Yay!!! ALL lovely staff.

My infant son and I ended up stranded on the side of the freeway after the truck was violently shaking then suddenly sputtered out. I called the location and he said it’s the shocks from being empty. I explained to him the truck would not exceed 45 mph on the freeway and he said no one else complained about the truck having problems. So after being on the side of the freeway I kept trying to start the am truck and it finally started after 10 minutes. It then drove as normal. (Wierd). The other issue is it was a rainy day and the drivers mirrors were operable if I kept the window open and had my left hand on the mirror constantly keeping them in place which made for an unsafe and annoying drive. I literally wondered if something bad would happen to my baby and I in this truck. The events were just terrible in rainy weather. Anyhow I once again explained the issue to the woman as I returned the truck.

I don’t agree with your $20 fee for late charge. Customers lose track of time during a moving. I brought the van back about 45 minutes after closing dropped the key in the safety box. I was told closing time but totally lost track of time and actually forgot the closing time.

brought the truck back the same day at 6 p.m. No one came out to check me out. walked into the showroom and there was 3 u haul employees in there one was on the phone and the other 2 were sitting talking. Why could they not come put and help me when I drove up. so after giving the key to one of them and stating why did you not get up and help me. I received texts messages for 2 days saying I did not return the vehicle. I called the facility and they figured out there was an error and the employee said they were sorry and I would Not be charged. Hello of course I am not being charged for a couple of employees who should not be employed

I made this uhaul reservation to move to Los Angeles. I made this very clear with the Turlock location and they acknowledged. When I went to turn in my u haul in souther California I was turned away by every uhaul location until Covina accepted. The Covina location informed me that the Turlock office made it a local return only. I was charged $400 for their mistake and given no other options. I have never and will never use uhaul again. The staff was very rude and did not solve this mistake that uhaul made.

Have reservation ready at store I made it with, instead of sending me to three stores before I received truck I reserved. Wasted my time And caused me to be charged an extra 10 miles

I have already recommended Charter Oak U-Haul location to many of my friends and family. And I highly recommend the moving bins! When returning the bins, the U-Haul employee helped me carry them from my car. Then the other employee had my bill ready. Excellent and efficient customer service from both guys!

I booked online and got a cheap price, not knowing it was an in town deal, and the website did not indicate it. I needed to leave the truck at the destination and I chose that option online. Instead, I had to bring it back, and get another ride back to my destination. Cost me more than what I rented for the truck. I called customer service and 2 other u haul places but could not help me. I had to pay 3 times the amount if I left it with another uhaul site. which was idiotic. Never using Uhaul again.

When you check in the service person did not tell me that I had to pay $20 if I just drop off without person to person check in. They just tell you to sign here! I was 15 minutes early, and I thought they would already be open they weren't. They charged me $20 more to go from Covina to Covina! So disappointed!

Set up over the phone for early pickup. Sign in and pick up the truck prior to the shop opening. Ended up having to wait till the shop opened because your store didn't set it up. So the people I had hired to help, had to wait, costing me money. Shifter in the truck didn't align with the gears marked on the dash. (Way out). Personel were friendly but didn't care that they didn't do their job.
