My pick up was scheduled for 9:15 AM. the location was closed and my phone calls went unanswered. At 9:15 I dialed 1 800 Go Uhaul and spoke with Leia. She was very helpful, she contacted the traffic/scheduling department and told me that an AFM would call me back within the next 5 minutes. I waited patiently, but I never got a call form the AFM.. Finally at 10:00 an employee arrived to open the store. after another 45 minutes I was given the keys to the truck.

First of I paid for one of the chats to carry my boxes which was 7.00 and was not in the truck I called to let the guy at the front desk know that and his telling me I need to come back and pick it up am being charge by the mile so that’s crazy it should be in the truck like all the others or he is supposed to tell me that because it was in the order I made online I ask for a 7 dollar refund which was not possible, also truck smell of smoke and some ash in the ashtray of the truck guess no one inspected he truck and rope st the back of he truck which I hard to clean, next time I will choose a next location not this one...

I am very dissatisfied with my experience. They were using a new computer system and my reservation was messed up causing me to spend over an hour waiting on my vehicle. I had reserved it ahead of time (online) and prepaid. This caused me a delay in moving which was very problematic. I also learned that if I had rented the truck the day of my move (walk-in) it would have been $40 cheaper but the District Manager could not be reached and they wouldn't give me a credit. The truck was in terribly poor condition -pretty beat up- and was hard to steer. The staff at Salem Rd. did everything they could to help me, though. I appreciated them.

We were not aware that a self-check-out system existed. We were delayed by 2 hours because we were unable to pick up the truck. Also, Uhaul changed the location from where we booked the reservation.

The person was not on time for my scheduled 9 am pick. Then took time to book a new customer over me and I had been in earlier in the week to get a storage unit and the truck booked. I feel as if I should have been able to get the keys and roll. I was set up and ready.

The owner did not open the store until an hour after my appointment time which was 9:30 am. Myself and other customers were waiting for over an hour after repeatedly calling his number that was left on the front door of the business. FINALLY after an hour of waiting, he walks to the front door and simply flips the sign to open. No greeting. No apology. Turns out he had been there the whole time and had kept 7 people waiting, some for over an hour. I will NOT be going back to this location. Terrible customer service and business etiquette. It's a good thing I wasn't on a strict timeline in moving but others weren't so lucky.

This has been a very horrible experience. The facility opened one hour late. Due to them overbooking truck they cancelled my uhaul truck. I will never use this location ever again. Several of the representatives over the phone were just "RUDE." I will be contacting the area manager about this matter.

Be sure that your vehicles have been cleaned and cargo. The truck was returned MUCH cleaner than when we received it. Rather gross getting a dirty truck.

The representative on duty had a great attitude. He was accommodating. The truck was in bad shape. It ran rough. I used Movers Help company name :It's what we do. The movers put a small hole in my wall at the new house and refused to take responsibility for it. They also stripped the hose on the washer. One admitted to using drugs when I asked because he behaved so erratically. He was rough with my items. He worked for the other guy. The other guy stated he is the owner.
