The gentlemen was very nice, but he kept saying there wasn't enough gas in it. I drove the truck 106 miles at 15mpg(which I believe is low) that should have been $20.00. I ended up putting in well over $30.00 and returned it with much more gas than it had in it. Small things like this leave a very sour taste. It's not a lot of money, but basically I had the truck for 6 hours, not the whole day and I feel like $180.00 is way too much

I must say that I was completely satisfied with my rental experience. Originally, I located and went to a rental site that was closest to my home. When I got there I was informed that they had none available. The young lady at the counter offered to find another site almost immediately came up with another location nearby and reserved my truck. THAT'S SERVICE!!

The one person who knows about U-Haul is a very nice, friendly, helpful guy. Unfortunately he seems new to the system and probably made an error with my contract such that the truck was not linked with my name when I turned it in; the result was an ugly verbal dispute when I tried to turn it in at the end of a rough moving day. The other worker at this gas station hung up on me several times when I called to confirm that my U-Haul rental was there; he apparently did not know what I was calling about and was not familiar with this procedure. I had to call four times before someone knew about U-Haul rental.

Nothing to do with location it was to do with my reservation. Promised a truck in Fall River , Ma for Sunday. I decided to just call and make sure on Saturday and I’m told no truck in Fall River. Now I have to go to RI and back to Ma then back to RI. Oh yeah they gave me 25 more miles but charged me 140 instead of 120 as originally quoted. To top it off no dolly I reserved and no furniture pads which I was charged for anyway?

Very unprofessional. This location is a gas station, where the attendant doesn’t seem to have any knowledge about the U-Haul. He dialed a number, handed me a phone and had me talk to who I’m assuming was a remote U-Haul rep? This location could use some better training so that a middle man is not necessary.

This place was atrocious! I have no idea how this location is still allowed to manage a U-Haul business. I originally picked a U-Haul location based on proximity to my home and good reviews. I was contacted that this location was not available instead they booked me with another location that was 20 minutes away. I didn't realize at the time that this location has horrible reviews and there were customers that went through the same experience I did. If I had known that I would have requested another location. When I call this location to confirm that I am still picking up the u-haul I get this very rude man who I understood barely spoke English. And in no way am I complaining about the language barrier. But I am however complaining about how he treats customers. When I first called, I stated who I was and that I was confirming I was picking up my rental. All I get in return is "Yeah, Yeah! Oh call this number!" I asked him to please give me a minute so I may write the number down. Not even a few seconds later He says, "Call Steve" and that's it. I had no idea who I was calling and for what? When I called Steve, he was very helpful.The day of picking up my rental, I was running extremely behind because the train I was taking up to Providence had an emergency stop. I called the rental location and it was the same man who I previously talked to. I told him I was running an hour behind. He said Okay and hung up. When I got there, I had to wait for him to get off of his cell phone conversation and tell him that I was picking up my rental. He barely said anything to me and passed me a phone. There was a very nice woman who checked me in and took down all my information. I didn't get her name, but she was a pleasure. When I got off the phone, the man hands me the key and didn't even tell me or show me what truck I am taking. I had to ask him and he pointed to it. There was absolutely no instruction given or assurance that my equipment was inside. Shame on me for not checking, however, I was already pressed for time since I had movers waiting and based on my phone call, I trusted everything was in order. It was only when I got to my apartment that I realized all of the equipment I paid for was missing. When I called to tell them that my pads were missing, he had the nerve to tell me "Oh yeah, they are here. I have them. Come back and get them!" He is located 20 minutes away from me and I would have to drive the u-haul back to that place to pick up after their mistake! That is the hugest inconvenience! I am already several hours behind and I have a 3 hour drive ahead of me. I instead had to call U-haul and ask them if I can pick up the pads in a location closest to me. Luckily they were able to take care of that. After a full day of loading, driving, unloading, do I realize they also forgot the dolly I paid for. Another mistake on their part. I sincerely think this man handed me the wrong truck. I urge all customers to please stay away from this location.

They charged me extra, they didn’t explain anything to me, they gave me no hard copy recipt. And I had to be on the phone with someone to get the uhaul. Do not rent from here

The truck I rented was dropped off at 11:30am and was not checked in until almost 4pm. Consequently, Uhaul charged me another days rental and insurance. I don't understand why I am charged because of a drop off locations inability to properly and timely check in a vehicle.

Manager had no idea what he was doing. My original reservation was at another location and they never had the truck. I never received a phone call from anyone . Luckly this location had the truck I needed.. check in was Okay. Had to wait 15 minutes for an associate to do the paperwork since manager wasn't familiar with the process. The Returning process was horrible. No idea what was my ending balance as the manager just told me I would get an email online. Also noticed insurance was added to my order after the fact when I declined originally online. New U haul authorized dealers should be trained better in my opinion.

Took over 30 minutes for the gas station employee to prepare the truck contract for me. Did not have the equipment that I requested to accompany the truck, so I had to travel to another U-Haul center to pick up the equipment.
