There was a few things wrong. I signed up on Uhaul site and was given one price. Seemed reasonable, then during my checkout on uhaul was given a discount of 30$ if I dropped off at a certain drop off. I thought that was great. When I got to the place to pick up the truck, the worker put in the information just like I was getting a truck for the first time and not using what I had done the night before and was giving me a total of $60 more then what I was given on the website. I questioned it. She ended up calling Uhaul and getting it down $30. It almost felt like a scam and I’m not sure from who, uhaul or the place I picked the truck up from. I felt like I could not get a word in when checking out . I was told that uhal does not give all the other fees when checking out and was blaming the whole thing on U-Haul, but I feel like it should have been the price when I checked out in the uhaul webpage the night before. I told her I wish I had taken a screen shot of what I checked out with. I was stuck with the price at that point because I needed a truck right then. Come to think of it later I should have redone it myself. You live and learn.
MISTY RTruck was unsafe, transmission surges and doesn’t shift properly. Happened 3 times on a 100 mile trip .
