Big issue. We used the app to attempt to get into the vehicle. You are not able to get into the vehicle unless the "primary" driver is present. We did not see this in the agreement anywhere. So we lost an hour waiting to have it fixed, only to find out they could not fix it. So we had to wait 1.5 hours until the shop opened, who then promptly handed the "secondary driver" the keys without any problem. UHAUL please either make this clear, or fix your app so anyone who took the time to list all of there information as a driver is able to get into the vehiche. Also, your offices are confused as to if this can be fixed remotely or not. Sadly they told us it was not possible and was a "glitch". Very troublesome.

My entire rental experience with UHAUL was great. It was almost too easy, and I kept waiting for something bad to happen like no truck available, but thankfully all was so smooth. I actually tapped into all the ways to contact UHAUL and was happy with each encounter. From phone calls to the main 800 line to the local rental location, from pick up to deliver, and from using text and on-line services, I had a great experience!

When I showed up to get my equipment the truck was there, but my tow dolly was not. I was then sent to a location 15 miles away. Once there I was told that I needed to go to another location 10 more miles away. I was given the $50 mistake fee, but I had to drive back to the first location to attach my vehicle to the tow dolly (about 40 miles). This caused me to use and pay for more gas and reschedule my moving service and have to pay more because I needed a same day emergency moving service. Pretty much the worst experience ever. On the other hand, I feel bad about the rating because Rusty’s Towing Services was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional about the situation. The problem started with the U-Haul system itself, but then it was human error from another U-Haul location.

Sold a truck that was not there reservation pushed to next day. All employees were not very helpful or polite. Recieved truck dirty in the cab. The windshield was leaking water on the inside of cab and had tape on it as if this was a known problem.

The guys working were funny and nice. My rental got messed up on the website, and I wasn't supposed to go to Rusty's but I'm glad I ended up there. It was quick and easy, which I appreciated before my multiple hour drive.

Uhaul traffic had overbooked or a customer didn’t turn in equipment so my equipment wasn’t available when I arrived. The staff at Rusty’s were excellent, kind and caring. They took care of the issue quickly by driving to another location and bringing a truck back. The service provided was wonderful I would recommend this location to anyone.

This location does a lot of business in Culpeper. I have rented a 26' and a 15' truck multiple days. I had a problem with a ball hitch design that damaged my trailer in the past. The location was moderately hostile towards me when I asked for help. Their primary business is big rig towing and these are not your typical consumer service providers. They're more like junkyard dogs. The insurance company denied my claim to cut and weld the damage for under $400! I would like to appeal and rectify this situation. BTW, the U-Haul on Plank Road in Fredericksburg is an excellent location. Please call me at 540-317-6100, Please!

"Check engine" light was on in the truck. Inside of cab was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke. Cigarette butt on floor of cab when we picked up the truck. No one way rental from this location, so that was a pain in the ass.

I made a reservation for a 26' truck for a move on 3/25. On April 3rd I was contacted by customer service and asked if I could pick up the truck at my destination location, 60 miles away, because the 26' truck I reserved 2 weeks before was given away. The only compensation I was offered was 50 miles, I refused as that wasn't going to help me out. I asked if there was any place in my area that had the 26' for the dates I reserved and I was told no. My only option was to downgrade to a 20' truck and make multiple trips on 2 days notice before my move. I was only compensated 50 miles for this inconvenience, I explained I would need the truck an extra day for the extra trip and was told that would be no issue, assuming the cost was taken care because of the inconvenience. I returned the truck to the drop off location at around 1PM or 1:30PM, the location closed at 12PM. When I received my bill from them I noticed they had the return time 0f 8:27PM, this was not accurate and incurred a $40 daily charge. It wasn't until I saw my credit card statement that both places charged me over $150. I don't think I should be charged $179.26 from my drop-off location, since my reservation, with ample notice, was giving away less than 48 hours from my original pickup and I had to downgrade and make multiple trips to make my move successful in the time frame given.
