They closed my initial reservation and opened new one for missing furniture pads
SHASHIKANTH RThe location and equipment were great, and the price was fair. Unfortunately, the app was a complete failure. The van was brand new and had a backup camera, which has not always been the case when I've rented U-Haul in the past. I appreciate that feature especially. Despite numerous attemps, I could not get the app to upload the required photos while picking up the vehicle. The app repeatedly failed, then would not let me skip the photo process to complete mobile check-in. It took me 53 minutes to try to complete what was supposed to be a mobile check-in. The same problem happened at drop-off. Because I had never been able to complete check-in through the app, I also couldn't complete the return process through the app. Fortunately, the woman working at the gas station where I picked up the vehicle was able to confirm my reservation, give me the key and later check me out when I returned it. She was extremely helpful, but this really should not have been her problem to solve. She was working in a gas station and helping other customers, so dealing with an app failure was a significant interruption to her actual job. There was another major issue with the app as well: If you leave it during check-in, for example to answer an incoming phone call, you have to start the process over from the beginning. The whole point of mobile check-in is that I should be able to upload the photos, complete the process and get on the road. That absolutely did not happen here. Location and equipment: great. Price: fair. App: complete failure.

Luis CI misplaced my furniture blankets but they closed my initial reservation and created new reservation only for furniture pads and they charged me 107$ ..
