This rating is all about location. The area is terrifying. The employee is behind bullet-proof glass, and I did not feel safe neither parking my vehicle outside, nor standing in the store waiting for the employee to help me. This is located within a convenience store, and the employee (probably owner) had to help incoming gas/convenience store customers and us, bouncing back and forth between 2 bulletproof glass windows. He was very nice and customer service was excellent, I just hated and was terrified while in the location. The thing that bothered me the most was this was not where I had reserved my truck. I reserved a location close to the storage unit I was cleaning out. When I got there they informed me I was at the wrong location and told me where to pick up the truck. It was 15 min away and incidentally in an area I had just passed by on my way to the other location. it would have been nice to know that, but also not cool that I couldn't reserve where I had originally requested. In addition, I was given a 30 mile allowance for my 1 way move, and because I was still 16 miles (round trip) from the u-haul pick up to my storage unit I went over. I was told to call customer service, which I did and stayed on hold for 20 minutes before I gave up and hung up. I called the next morning amd remained on hold for 10 minutes before I started over and called back using a different option. This time, it was answered right away and I spoke to Corina in sales/reservations. She gave me the scheduling number and contected me to the regional office where I was finally able to get 15 miles added to my contract. All in all, this was a time management issue. These inconveniences took more than an hour of unnecessary time between not getting the truck where I reserved, back tracking to a scary location, and sitting on the phone for such a long time. The people I encountered both in person and on the phone were all professional and courteous. It was the circumstances that were upsetting.

It truly is not an ideal location but it does serve a demographic that may not have the convenience of traveling farther to a corporate UHAUL facility. The staff is friendly but they do not have the ability to keep clean trucks- not on the exterior. My rental was dirty and I think I paid more than I was quoted when I picked up.

The location is in a very unsafe part of Dallas TX. There were burgler bars and bullet proof glass at the pickup office location. This should NOT be a U-haul pickup/drop off location!!!!!!

Website and U-Haul app were not working properly and had trouble with both the pick-up and drop-off. During pick-up, the wrong truck was reserved.

I am new to uhaul, I was “tricked” by the location attendant into picking the mileage he guesstimated for my trip as I was trying to do the math on my phone. He said nonchalantly “we will just put 40 you can adjust it if you go over,” knowing very well there is a higher charge for a mileage balance. My round trip was 80. Then they chose a lower gas meter reading to charge the extra $30 fee. Though I did not bring the gas back to par, it was above a quarter tank (picture proof). I was also unaware of the $30 fee until I read the fine print in my receipt. If I decide to use uhaul again—slim chance—it will not be this location near my home.

Horrible location in Dallas. We literally feared for our lives. Bullet proof glass, stinky. Dirtiest place I've ever been in. Horrible attendant. Rude, tried to cheat us out of more money. Location inside very dirty and run down. Also owner was 30min late getting there before my guaranteed appointment time, called and wouldn't answer phone.

Truck was dirty in the inside and location is a convenience store as well. I had a tight schedule with a appt for 10:00 pick up. There was only one person working the entire operation including the convenience store.

I was charged $20 for 12 blankets. Then I learned it was $10 for 12 blankets at other location. The guy took care his grocery store and game machine(s) customers first. Never returned to this location.



Location had bars on the windows and a wall across the counter. If employees need these precautions, it did not give me a lot of confidence in being at the location.

My pickup time was for 8am. The store didn't open until 9am. The gentleman assisting was nice but there was no explanation of why I was not able to get my uhaul at the time I rented it. I decided to not make a big deal about it as I was not in a rush. The area was not the safest. I would never advise anyone to rent from this location.
