I have been attempting to dispute my charges, nearly impossible to get through the phone lines. I finally do- get cut off after thirty mins of waiting for the representative. I paid $60 for insurance. The side mirror was cracked- I get charged $150 plus a $30 late fee for not paying in seven days in my attempts to dispute. I ask the representative what the cost would have been if I wouldn't of got renters and the second representative I was speaking hung up on me after a chill question? In total I have been attempting to reach a representative and get a clear answer for a total of three hours. The replacement mirror is $49 on amazon. Where uhaul is getting $150 for that is wild. The representative shared that was the minimum deductible with insurance.. so I should of got insurance and just paid the total it actually cost? What a horrid customer service experience. I am once again on hold to speak about getting the late fee waived. I will never use uhaul again and will share my experience with anyone who will listen. With the way the customer service for this company works I am positive that does not matter to you. But word of mouth is huge especially from someone in the real estate industry dealing with movers often. Please re listen to my phone conversations with your representatives. I choose the 24 hour option to rent a vehicle and they ended up changing the reservation to force me to have to come into their location which pushed my timeline by one day--which ruined all my plans. So next day I come to pick up the vehicle, same thing occurs, and I have to go inside to get the key, and the person in charge of dispatching the keys was not present. Had to argue with another employee for about 10 minutes on whether I was checking out the vehicle correctly and why I chose my option. Incredibly tough to deal with.Johnathan R.
The young man working at the counter, i believe gis name was Chris was very upset at the time and gave me attitude about coming to pick up the vehicle after making a reservation. He is an employee of Hello Storage and worked at the front desk. I was very close to walking out entirely and cancelling the reservation. The van worked well, but overall it was a terrible experience to the point i will never go back to that location.MICHAEL CHARLES K.
First off the young lady that helped me was cool and respectful but I had to put my card on hold to reserve the truck $23 then was charged another $71.12 to rent the truck I had 4 hours but returned the truck within 1.5 hours with a full tank of gas and now I'm still waiting for my deposit never paid that much for a small truck. I dropped off the truck to this location on Tuesday July 22. Two days before it was due. The gentleman at the desk didn't want to take it. Said they were already full. Then decided he would take it after all. We inspected the truck and he told me to have a nice afternoon. Now I get a charge for two extra days plus coverage? Really? Now I have to dispute the transaction. Not a good experience at all.David H.

My entire experience with Uhaul last weekend was a disaster. First, you all called me at 7:30 pm the night before my rental to say you won't have a 10ft truck due to extending someone's rental. Said I had to take 15 ft. Made no effort to find me another and didn't care about my concern about safety driving big truck. So many other issues but too much list. The whole Rental experience was stressful and a disaster.. I have told everyone I know how bad your company is.CALEEN B.

I would not recommend this place. I made reservations for a truck pick up at 10am, called and guys said yes was ready. Took a Uber there the guy tried to complete transaction. He said Uhaul system is down. Said it happens all the time, worse on Saturday with long lines of upset people Said would be 30 min back up and running. I waited and 45min later still not working. Had to take under back home, told the guy call when ready. I never received a call, it was 1pm now. I called he said yes system back up and running, I had to take another Uber over, when I got there he still had difficult processing order, took over 30 min again. I was out 42.00 for the ubers back and forth. The guy at uhaul said would talk to boss about a discount for the trouble, and should get a call from mang about it. never heard from them. that didn't happen actually charged me more for going 7 miles over limit. I would not recommend this placeBenny H.
Equipment I reserved was not available. In my reservation I had 1 appliance dolly and 1 utility dolly. They had no utility dollies. I had 24 furniture pads ordered. They gave me 6. They said a text would come to me to do a pre drive once over of the vehicle. That never came to my cell. They said they'd have to close me out and start the reservation over to give it to me. So I just took a video of the truck before I left. It was a nice new storage facility but the gentleman who worked with me made it sound like the uhaul online system doesn't work.Bryan G.
