Price was economical & awesome. Plus, they found me a truck I could return at the destination city. That saved me about 80 miles because I could return in return it in Elk Grove and not back to Daly City. The 15 foot truck was so easy to use and drive…..way easier than their 21 foot truck. That’s not to say the 21 Footer wasn’t absolutely perfect for the larger (local city) use, I just don’t like driving the bigger truck in tight spaces or in heavy traffic on the freeway. If you’ve never driven such a large truck, my advice is to just take it slow & careful.

Yolanda MThis location was very unprofessional. Was not open at the time listed on the U-Haul app. The person who assisted me added a $30 safe move insurance charge that I did NOT select. I had to request it be removed from the bill. Also I was charged gas for milage when I had already refueled the gas tank. I only used about one gallon of fuel, but added two gallons. And then I had a milage charge of $13.09 added when I had already refueled the van. I don't think he even checked the gas tank. And the return vehicle instructions were not sent. The links did not work. I will not use this location again. I expected better from a well know company like U-Haul.
NEIL SThe app was extremely frustrating to use. It kept asking for a second person even after we already entered the information. The in-app chat support was very slow to respond and ultimately not helpful. There was also no assistance available at the pickup location, no direct phone number posted, and no easy way to contact U-Haul for support. What should have been a quick pickup process took over 30 minutes. If you’re going to offer mobile pickup, the app needs to work properly and support needs to be accessible. I will not use this location again.
