Cust service needs work. I rent frequently. Don't talk down to customers. Person seemed annoyed and didn't pay attention to anything I said. I go to counter say hey I made an online reservation but it won't allow me to pick up truck. Probably because it's an old iPhone with terrible location services. He proceeds to do a whole new application. I get a truck then I get a call hey it's 11 o'clock you had a 10:30 apt. I say I just picked up the van ohh then just hangs up. Not good service.SORKADH M.

Dear Uhaul, I am writing because I was charged for gas usage. I returned the vehicle with same as gas amount as when I received the vehicle. I returned it with a hairline more of gas. also, was charged for insurance, that I did not ask for. thus I need someone to credit these charges. It became apparent that we needed a bigger truck. Called Danvers UHaul to inquire about a 20 foot truck. Was told they had no other out of state trucks. Called Salem and was told that they had a 20 foot truck which I booked. Called Danvers and cancelled the 15 foot previously booked. Received confirmation email which indicated that the pick up location was Danvers. Called back to the Salem number and told that it was actually Corp. and that Danvers had a 20 foot truck. Went at 12:00 and picked up a 20 foot truck. Did not need the frustration which I experienced with the incompetent staff at Danvers. This company uses False advertising on their website to get your attention/ business - Your rental VEHICLES WINDSHIELD COVERS BOAST $19.95 RENTALS! - The truth is, you'll be paying roughly $75.00 per day for a standard size van. A 2 day van rental cost me $140.00 and I'm disputing this with credit card company. Buyer beware of these snakes in the grass. They are no longer the that once trusted company.Stacy R.

The location was very helpful, but one note is that there is terrible cell-service around the building, so it is close to impossible to return a truck after hours, because you won't have enough service to check out.SARAH J.
I was scheduled to pick up the truck at 6 am in Salem MA arriving at the location the vehicle was not there, they transferred me to Danvers MA so I managed to pick up the vehicle at 7:15 am, when returning an Asian-looking person was very stupid and called us made fuck.wilian D.

Sales associate was rude. Seemd annoyed. When I asked him does the vehicle take gas or diesel, he replied: it does not take hope and honey... I could not believe what i was hearing, but did not want to get into discussion with him. I returned the vehicle. He just took the keys and told me ur all set...nothing else, grabbed the keys frlm3my hand. If someone is having a day day they need to stay home and not bring that to work and on the customers. I'm glad U-Haul has the online check-in option as the staff seemed overwhelmed near the closing time on Saturday. I waited with the vehicle as directed during office hours for twenty minutes but no one was available to come check the van for me to close out the rental contract in person.Stephen G.
